Touch and go

Hello folks,

Still about. I'm a bit out of touch with the site and the internet in general (as some of my online friends could tell you---sorry you guys) but I check in now and again to see if I have any specific messages to me that I can squeeze in a response to.

I've decided, after some broken promises both to myself and others, that I shall not jerk folks along with the hope that I will be active as I once was. I know it will be soon. I just don't know when exactly. It seems every time I try to predict it, I am thrown a curve ball.

Dealing with family drama. Personal emotional challenges. Concerns for my son's well-being. Also, surprisingly, I'm still nesting. Who knew moving to a new house would require so much work?

...Yeah that sounded dumb, even to me.

I am fighting just to squeeze in this update. Kiddo resents his mother on the computer--as he should. He deserves my time, and to be frank... he matters more to me than being "successful" on the internet.

I have come back from long absences before, so fear not. Just to keep people from panicking, I won't put my stories under "hiatus" status as everyone immediately assumes the worst when they see that.

In the meantime, I want to post a quick and dirty OPWA that practically wrote itself. It's almost a copy and paste job which is why I can get away with it.

Tagging HCHL just so those of you following the story, but not me, can get a little update as to where I've been. Thank you to all of those who followed and liked the story! You're awesome.
