4158441 I know...even though the Heisei Riders have been doing some pretty off-model shit design-wise, Ex-Aid is so off-model he doesn't even really qualify as a Kamen Rider anymore. I mean, there's absolutely nothing about that design that says Kamen Rider. Even Fourze and Ghost managed to look more like Riders than this.
He looks like the Mattel hoverboard from Back to the Future if it became a person. I love him.
It sure beats my dumb idea of Kamen Rider Mask (not Kamen Rider Kamen but Gratuitous English Mask).
The idea is he gets power ups by gaining new masks from the "leaders" of the forces he's fighting against, by slapping a "blank" mask on their faces in a fight and "copying" their power.
My roommate is a tokusatsu fan and keeps up with both Super Sentai and Kamen Rider. I don't really have much interest in the first and I've only watched Double when it comes to the second (though I do kinda want to watch OOO at some point).
He shakes his head whenever I bring up Mask. I find it amusing.
I had another idea as well, Kamen Rider KATZ, he works at a radio station (guess their call name) and his various fighting forms are based on what "style tune" he's got his belt on, based around music styles of course. He fights against DOGS, which uses television to drain the intelligence from people and the Monsters of The Week are based on various TV personalities. My roommate has a bit more respect for that one.

I know full well just how dumb if an idea Masked Rider Mask is. But it's a dumb idea that just won't go away and I enjoy sharing it with the more hardcore Kamen Rider fans.

I've heard a lot secondhand about Ghost. My roommate says it's "alright" but from what I've heard and seen about it I'm not going to be watching myself.
4158624 I am honestly not a fan of Kamen Rider Ghost. In fact, just the existence of a crossover episode with Zyuohger killed my weekly viewing of Zyuohger back in spring to the point where I am now a good seventeen episodes behind and just starting to get back in (admittedly, other things were involved in that, but the Ghost crossover episode started it). And yet I'm actually planning to watch Ghost past where I last left off, but mostly to make fun of it. The whole series is steeped in silly.
You mentioned having watched Kamen Rider W, and I heartily approve of that, it was my first Rider and is still my favorite, with Gaim a damn near tie for first. OOO is definitely one you want to see, as are Gaim and Kabuto.
I've never watched Kamen Rider before, but that design is just so awe-inspiring that I just might have to watch this one.

4159051 At least Digimon always used to be about computer bullshit. Kamen Rider started as a cyber enhanced human fighting monsters. Totes the same thing.

this guy looks like he could be as gimmick heavy as Drive, something that does not bode well with me...part of what put me off of drive was all of the gimmicks it had, there were, in my opinion, too many! the Driver was a character, the Shift Cars, the Signal Bikes, the Monsters gimmicks, the suit was a giant gimmick looking like the guy was literally wearing a car, then there was the tire changing gimmick...yeah, there was a lot there...
