I'm putting this blog post up now, because I'll be gone on vacation for the next couple of days with my family.
Tomorrow (August 18) is my birthday, and I've recieved the IDW Main Series comics #38-#40. Expect reviews on those when I get back from Tennessee (along with my review of "The Times Are A Changeling", my expectations have been lowered a bit knowing that writers from Ultimate Spider-Man are penning it, and I'm hoping they'll do better than I'm expecting them to).
And since I won't be back to celebrate it, August 21 is Cathy Wesluck's birthday. She is the talented woman who voices Spike, Mayor Mare, and Coco Pommel among other characters. I've been told we'll be getting a Spike song in the upcoming episode, and I hope Cathy will do a good job. I also hope "The TImes Are A Changeling" won't be a step backwards for Spike after the impressive "Gauntlet of Fire" seems to have opened the doors to a bright future for him.
Spike's going to sing in the upcoming episode? Sweet.
I hope to god the upcoming episode will be good. I don't want a bad Spike episode this season!

And, yeah, I'm not holding on to a bunch of faith concerning the episode. I mean, it's possible we might be pleasantly surprised, but somehow, I seriously doubt it.

4155530 No, I don't have the means at my disposal to go all the way out to a convention on the other end of the states. I really would like to be able to attend a Brony convention at some point though.
4155532 Well, I'm just hoping the Big Kahuna tickets aren't sold out for this one. I really want to talk with the voice actors there. Perhaps this will help me get a foot hold in the acting business. You know what the Navy says, "Don't follow your dream..... Lead It!"
