So Updates . . . again. · 12:49pm Aug 16th, 2016
I need to be honest here with what's been going on. Just between my old computer dying and waiting two weeks to get a new one, branching out onto Deviantart, and getting sick the last week, I've had to take a hiatus from S&H.
I want finish this, but it's just been a bad year for the luck I've been having. I should've posted the final chapter of Act I a month ago, but it's just a matter of personal issues that I couldn't.
So, just to let you know what's going to happen in the next period of time, I will post the chapter at the end of the month, (at the latest) (also, ugh, at my two-year mark. I'm horrible at this) and after that, I'll go through each of the chapters and clean them up. Edit the writing itself, the dialogue, characters and try to shorten down the really long ones. Hopefully fixing all that will give me the motivation to do as I promised.
My ultimate goal for this story is to finish it by my 21st birthday (next April), so hopefully I can fire up my productivity.
Thanks, everyone.
Take your time dude! Rome wasn't build in a day, as they say. (And who the heck is they anyway?) Don't rush, I'm sure people will understand! Though between you and me, I can't wait for the next chapter! But I shall wait patiently *at the edge of my seat* till you finish! Good luck with the personal issues!
4155430 This. This is why I keep going. Comments like these tell me that what I'm doing is worthwhile for more than myself. To be honest, I wasn't sure if anyone cared about the story anymore. Now that I have better experience in writing, I keep looking back and realizing how messed-up the content is, what crap I was subjecting my readers with.
But I have the experience I need to do better with future chapters, and like I said, I'll be fixing up the previous ones once the final chapter of Act I is published.
But I'm rambling by now. Thank you for the comment and support. It really means everything to know you're hooked on my work.
