Greetings Gotham, Joker here! Just thought I'd drop in and give you all a little status update on the opening chapter of Why So Serious? First off, my co-author/editor and I have decided to keep the details of Joker's Displacement under wraps. Oh, don't get me wrong, we're still gonna show the man he used to be dying, but after that, the details are under wraps. Secondly, in addition to offing criminals like Thunderlane and a couple of the crime lords that plauge Canterlot/Ponyville-
Oh! Did I forget to say? In the universe my partner and I are creating, Ponyville is actually A PART OF CANTERLOT. Oh, and Twilight and Spike are not only romantically involved (gotta cross that bridge sometime) but they're both detectives. And yes, they're partners. In fact, a fair portion of the opening chapter features the two of them interrogating Mr.J.
Anyways, back to what I was saying. Joker will also be killing dirty cops and corrupt members of the Royal Guard, all thanks to some, ahem, borrowed, files from both Canterlot/Ponyville's police departments and Internal Affairs.
Also, there's one more thing I should bring up. It has come to my attention that a select few of you think that Joker is gonna be the villain of the story. Well, sorry, but the only time, and I mean THE ONLY TIME, Joker's gonna be the bad guy is during the Power Ponies spin-offs (it's his way of cutting loose. It also means that I can use this scene, except Black Mask is replaced with the Mane-iac and Bats is replaced with the Power Ponies and HumDrum:
Should be fun when we get there.) Otherwise, Mr.J and eventually Pinkie Pie/Harley Quinn will be anti-heroes. Although, Joker will occassionally severely injure an innocent civillian, in which case, his excuse will be, and I quote, "They shouldn't have been standing there." Not the case for Vinyl's injuries though.

When can we expect it to be released? Normally I'm not a huge fan of DC, like, at ALL, (Marvel ftw) but you've got me intrigued and excited. Not many can do that. Hell, this got me more excited then the Ultimate life form with the descriptions you're putting out, and I'm a HUGE Shadow fanboy.

Although, I'm kinda surprised you haven't done a Displaced fic with some other game... specifically, TF2... I can already I imagine you having a Displaced Soldier saying "I have done nothing but teleport bread for three days."
