This is the last favor I'll ever do you, Pegasub. · 11:47pm Aug 8th, 2016
So, I have a friend called Pegasub, and she just joined. I told her not to do that creepy thing where you follow people and say "HI FOLLOW ME BACK," and this is probably the one time she'll listen to me.
Anyway, she's a friend of mine from way back when we were in school together, and she has the goods on me. If you don't want to read Mature-rated stories, which I don't unless I have to, you really, really don't want to follow Pegasub. But I've looked over the story she wants to publish, and it's probably fine, if you like that kind of thing.
So maybe you want to follow her if you like my Fifty Shades of Neigh review.
OK? OKAY, PEGASUB? DON'T TELL ME I NEVER DID ANYTHING FOR YOU!
I can confirm that she said hi to me without asking me to follow her. As for what she has coming down the pipeline... yeah, doesn't sound like my deal. Pegasub, if you're reading this, my apologies. I hope you and others enjoy your work.
What's that mean?

Saying that someone "has the goods on" someone else often implies that they are in possession of incriminating evidence or other material suitable for blackmail and/or extortion. But as this is Scoots, I can't imagine anything more severe than a parking violation...
4139445 No worries. We're both great believers in tagging things properly and keeping things separate when necessary.
I'll be sure to check our their work and give them a good welcome!
4139708 Well ...she kinda specializes in M-rated stuff, so it might not be for you.
4139713
OH SNAP, SORRY, I meant that in the "what kind of pairings do they like, maybe we share ships or something." I'm not big on mature-rated stories, either. Also, I wanna make sure that they get a nice welcome on the site.
4139719 Well, I'm sure she'll appreciate it if you stop by and say hi. I'm under the impression that she ships CheesePie, and from what I can tell, her new story will be QuibbleDash.
4139726
Cool! Never can have too many CheesePie shippers!
Well, I probably won't follow her if she's only publishing Mature stories, but if I see her, I'll probably
tell her that she can't post links to mature stories in a SFW groupsay hello!--Sweetie Belle
4139807 Trust me, I've made that perfectly clear to her.

Glad to hear it! I figure when posting new stories on fimfiction, the Shameless Self-Promotion Bureau is kinda a first stop, and a lot of new members don't read the rules before promoting. I don't mind letting 'em know, but it's a little irritating as a constant thing we have to do.
Still I'd rather do that than make it a NSFW group...
--Sweetie Belle
4139904 Yeah, I agree that that's confusing, and it's not something I have to worry about because I never publish M rated stuff. The Writer's Group isn't NSFW, is it? Because there seem to be a lot of groups which aren't officially marked NSFW that certainly have NSFW stories IN them. I assumed that this was ok, but on the other hand, people keep putting diaper fics in House of D'aww, so...
4139807 Oh, links! Links, no. IIRC, you can name the story but not link to it, even if you're writing about your own story on your own blog. Not sure how tagging stories works, though.
Well, I'll just tell her to err on the safe side, assuming she listens to me.

That's the weird thing. You can put NFSW stories in folders in SFW groups like The Writer's Group. You can't actually post links in their forums to them, though. I think fimfiction actually switches ad providers where you go to NSFW sections of the site, and they don't want NSFW links on pages that have a SFW ad.
Also, figure that a lot of SFW groups were around long before these rules were made, and accumulated a lot of NSFW stories, so saying in retrospect that half of the stories in a group aren't allowed would be pretty difficult.
Those diaper fics are a pain in any group for cute and adorable things. Somepony always submits 'em...

Yep. You can name the story but not link to it. In fact, this is how I phrased it when writing the rules for the SSPB:
Really, as long as she reads group rules, she should be fine, though, and it's not like she'll get banned for doing it once. We'd just politely point it out as ask her to change her post...
