Eh, I wouldn't know. I only dealt with this guy in his Gym in the games (quiz games?). Haven't watched the anime since Hoenn, and since the Volcanian event isn't tied to the movie in North America (unlike in Japan), I don't even have to bother with the latest movie either.
I... wow. Now I'll never be able to not think about that.
