Okay, so here's the problem.
I'm a Brony (no, that isn't the problem). But I am also... someone who cannot be identified as a Brony due to extenuating circumstances that I won't get into here. Some of you will understand, some of you won't. I'm not going to debate the pros and cons of being a Closet Brony, but I have to remain one for my particular personal reputation.
As a result, I want to pay people money for pony stuff (never mind what, just stuff... *cough* clop-stuff *cough*) but I don't want the people whom the money ends up with knowing who had originally sent them that money. Essentially, I want to donate people money anonymously without having to explain to certain people what the money is for.
Again, never mind the semantics of why, just want to know if it's possible. I have asked around and have failed to find a solution, but the world is a wide and vast place, so perhaps someone knows of some way where it is possible.
That aside, almost done with the next chapter for Semper Pie.
Pre-paid gift cards through an anonymised paypal account?

4131911 hadn't thought of that. When I signed up you didn't need to enter bank details, you could just go with a credit card.

What 4131878 is very viable, but PayPal works around your bank account information and forces you to unable to use it. So PayPal is out of the picture. Sort of.
You could make a second account or add a fake email address and make it your primary then switch back to real email after you pay. You will need to verify the fake email though.
The only downside of it is that PayPal may lock down that fake account. (Use it at your own risk.)
But having a white vanilla visa card and to use it as a proxy may be able to do that. Might be the smartest thing to do.
4132027 It really is a conundrum. I've been trying to work on this for months now.
Get a prepaid credit card. I use one I got through H&R block. No monthly paper trail, just pay for the stuff and put the money on it just before you buy things . No tie to your bank accounts. Where to have stuff shipped is another thing perhaps a PO box at a post office.
You shouldn't be using your regular PayPal account, even with a new email attached as its primary, because PayPal will still identify the real name attached to your account as the sender.
What you can do is create a second PayPal account, ideally under a proxy, with a new fake name as well as mentioned before. You could send money from your real account (this is what I've done and my fake account hasn't been locked yet). Alternatively, use a prepaid credit card or something.
Amazon gift cards (buy the gift cards, get the codes for yourself, and send just the code so the sender can't be identified) are also possible, and maybe bitcoin if the receiver actually has BTC set up.
