Changeling goes to spy on pony community, but soon changes its ways after bonding with one of the locals of the community and is later discovered leading to events that ultimately conclude with the Changeling becoming accepted by the community it tried to live amongst.
This is kinda the concept used in a lot of Changeling fan stories, isn't it? Well, it's apparently the concept of the next episode to come in Season 6, if the image preview wasn't evident enough.
So, if this isn't proof that Hasbro is being inspired by fanfics on this site, then I'll call up the opticians and arrange an appointment for you all, because I think your eyes need testing.

The idea of the changelings trying to integrate into the pony society peacefully is not that big a of a concept stretch, nor would it be unique to fanfic writers.

And of course it isn't unique. I never said it was a unique idea. I meant that Hasbro might have looked at someone's story and thought, "Say, remember those Changelings back in Season whatever? What if we do an episode that brings back those bug pony things and use one of these good Changeling trying to live amongst ponies stories as the inspiration?"
