Average brony obsessing over the main cast with an unhealthy desire to see them in a dark fantasy setting.

We're off to Indiana! · 9:41pm Jul 31st, 2016

:ajsmug: The time has finally come. In a few days, I'll be on my 13 hour trip. That being said, there isn't a new chapter of anything this week. Instead, I sat down and worked on the long over due cover of Super, if only a little bit. Some day I'll finish it.
I fear that my plans may just get waaay too far out of hand at times though. A good example of that would be TLOF, which was never 'supposed' to be as long as it is, but regardless of if *sniff* :applecry: nobody likes it, *sniff* I'll finish it! For nobody but me and my pride! I won't join the majority and have another unfinished serial, even if it isn't very good, damn it! I've worked too hard on this all by myself for too long to let it go!

:applejackunsure: With that out of the way, I guess this is the part where I talk about yesterday's episode, and let me tell you it was great. Patton Oswalt (Remmy from Ratatouille) as a Daring Do fan boy was fantastic, and it made the episode all the better since I watched his little segment on Fallon talking about Star Wars and pony. And that, really translated well to the episode. I don't have the memory to quote Quibble exactly, but holy crap can you apply that whole tirade about 'there's nothing after the first three books' to most people within the Star Wars fans.
Being 7 in 2001 made the phantom menace the coolest shit you'd ever seen, and to this day, it is still my favorite Star Wars movie, regardless of how terrible it actually is. But enough about Star Wars, that little rabble at the end of the episode during the credits was the greatest thing ever. Supposedly, dood (cause I'm a prinny, dood.) just ad-libbed the whole thing, and that really makes my day. Literally summed up as, 'Well I wrote this fan fic, and I have some ideas, but they're mine, but I think I can tell you because...' and he just goes on for a good minute or so, finally ending with Dash yelling 'Quibble' to get him to stop. It was perfect.
This episode was fantastic, and I'm excited to see what else this season has for us. Especially the Dungeons and Discord episode. featuring Big Mac, Spike, and Q. If any episode gets top marks, it will probably be that one. Any episode where Big Mac has speaking roles usually turns out fantastic, so here's hoping that doesn't change.

:derpytongue2: That's all from me. Wish me luck at MLP CCG continentals, and have a good week y'all. *Remember, no new chapter next week either*
