    A Good Pace

    It's time...

I made a promise that I'd keep up a good pace now that my life is in a better place. And now I have the second to last chapter.

We're nearing on the home stretch.

Sat down today, the day after I published the latest chapter and wrote the first 2,000 words of the next chapter.

Getting Ready — My Little Serial Killer

It's been a long while since I've looked at My Littler Serial Killer with a close eye and saw a LOT that could be edited and improved.

So, I went through every chapter of My Little Serial Killer these past two days and did a complete overhaul.

I'm about two-thirds of the way done with the new chapter of My Little Serial Killer. That should be posted by the end of this coming week.

A Bit of My Life's Story These Past Two Years

So, I became a reporter for a local paper and thought things would change and I'd have a nice, easy life.

What I didn't expect was to be the only reporter for that local paper. A normal week would see me writing at least six full-length stories. I'd also help put the paper together for publication. I was basically an assistant to the editor in all but name. And pay.

So, I Thought I'd Get More Time

Do you know when the busiest time to be a journalist is? September, right up until Christmas. You have local elections you need to keep up on, in addition to what you're normally doing, then Thanksgiving rolls around and like, 8 different entities do something related to that and then Christmas is the same story.

So, I had a Thing Happen: Doctor Visits, Hospital, and a Diagnosis (Nothing Life Threatening) · 7:19pm Jul 29th, 2016

Alright, so about 4 years ago, I REALLY injured my knee. And like an idiot I just said "Fuck it" and tried to muscle through it. Since the beginning of last year, my knee was going nuts. It hurt like hell going up and down stairs, I couldn't run and I was always a little testy because I just hurt. It got a little better but then I got back to work after college and BAM. Pain gets like 100X worse. A few times I had it even collapse underneath me. Finally, decided enough was enough.

So, anyway, I went to the doctor, got referred to another doctor, got an MRI and got a diagnosis.

Wanna know what happened after I slammed my knee into a step after falling from a dead sprint?

That.

That happened. My kneecap got pushed to the side and it had been fucking with me for 4 years. Now I got a fancy brace that pushes my kneecap to the side and am doing a hell of a lot better.

During this time, writing had been slow and I do apologize, but starting next week, things should resume a normal pace. Now that I no longer have a knife in my knee, I can concentrate on writing instead of chilling out on pain killers and playing Dark Souls.

Yikes. Well, at least you caught it before it did any irreparable damage. I hope. In any case, here's to no longer having a knife in your knee.

Ouch. At least you'll feel better. I remember I've dislocated my knee cap a few times.

Speedy recovery, friend!
