And Build a Bear Workshop is my greatest enabler. Seriously every time I think I've got enough, Build a Bear has a sale... Two ponies for thirty-five dollars was awesome... So I got a Luna for my niece and a Rarity for my Applejack... also I bought a creeper plush and a Flareon for my Flutterbank... Yeah... so other stuff...

I'm drawing stuff... I finished a quilted wall hanging work is stealing my soul... I'm actually writing a thing again... I meant for it to be a one shot, but I actually don't know how long it's going to be, so I will try and finish it before I start posting it...

So here comes the hook, and/or question of the day. Have you ever found something that you were so excited about, that the rest of your life seemed like a slow burn toward that anticipated thing? October is the current E.T.A. for my niece finally coming home. My brother-in-law's discharge has been pushed back and back for almost a year now, but apparently this time it is as close to set in stone as the army is capable of.

I was kind of in this funk waiting for Everfree Northwest 2016 too. Hopefully I will feel a lot more fulfilled with a constant barrage of niecie goodness. I mean, I love all my nieces, but I haven't seen the youngest of the trio for more than a year and she's the one who still thinks I'm a hero... Brotherhooves Social is about me! I am Big Mac in a dress! Seriously though I could easily relate to Big Mac and his motivations. I have been terrified that My niece wouldn't get to see me for so long that she would forget about me.

A few months back she asked what my cutiemark would be so I sent her the picture of a knife cutting on an onion you see next to my name. She apparently immediately took one of her Rainbow Dash toys and changed her cutiemark into mine... That kind of told me something about how my niece sees me... I've really only hoped to see her again while she still thinks of me that way... as her fearless, loyal, friend and protector... and now here I am in the funk of my life waiting for October so she can be my Scootaloo and I'll help her with her costume for Nightmare Night.
