And now, the answers you've ALL been waiting for! · 4:24pm Jul 26th, 2016

What is inside a can of 7-up?

Sugar, water, sugar water, and literally everything sweet.

Where did I leave my glasses?

In the doom dimension.

How old am I?

Better question: How old am I?

Answer: I'm not telling you.

What was your very first video game?

That's a good one! I've actually had two "first video games", believe it or not.

My first experience with video games was Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D on the PC. As a kid, I played the shit out of that game and I think it has aged very well. Albeit there are versions much better than it, but I still pop it in every now and then.

My first official video game I owned was Super Mario 64 DS when I got my DS that Christmas in 2006. I had another one, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, but SM64 was the first one I opened up and played. I have it to thank for getting my aunt into video games, where she discovered Pokemon and told me about it and the rest is history. Simply put, Super Mario 64 DS is an important game to me.

But if you wanted to get super simple, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron was my first video game.

Your favourite battle in RWBY?

Tough, but I'll have to go with either the battle with the Nevermore and Deathstalker in Vol. 1, or the battle between Qrow and Winter in Vol. 3.

With the Nevermore and Deathstalker, and other such Grimm as well, we had a good taste of what the guys over at RoosterTeeth were capable on doing when it came to RWBY. The choreography is just as good in Vol. 3 than it was in Vol. 1, and we have none-other than Monty Oum and the other animators at RoosterTeeth to thank for that.

Qrow VS Winter was good because Qrow is fucking awesome. Done deal.

Your favourite episode of MLP?

Gonna go simple and say Lesson Zero. Good lesson, great writing and overall a fantastic look at Twilight's psychotic side.

if you could have any classic Square game remade, what would it be?

FUCKING CHRONO TRIGGER!!! FUCK!!!

Chrono Trigger is still my all-time favorite video game, only matched by Final Fantasy VI. I loved its combat system and art style, and it's sad it hasn't seen the light of day since 2008. Thankfully, we're actually getting a spiritual successor in the form of "I am Setsuna", being created by Square Enix itself.

Not sure if I should be happy with them remembering Chrono Trigger or angry at them remembering Chrono Trigger.

what launch game would you like to see on the Nintendo NX? (For me personally, Elite Beat Agents 2 would be fantastic.)

Splatoon 2.

Not much else to say.

Splatoon's sales were absolutely amazing, and having a sequel would benefit Nintendo greatly.

who is best Pokemon waifu?

I just really like Florges. She has stats that SURPASS Sylveon's, and she just has a really pretty design! I have a red one named Mary whenever I can find one, named after the red flower amaryllis.

If you could dual wield any two types of guns what would you pick? And yes they both can be the same type of weapon.

Um... guns. I don't really know gun names all that much.

I can tell you I'd wield dual scythes though! :rainbowkiss:

What if I told you that the plesioth is an urgent quest for Monster Hunter generations?

What is your two favorite Pokemon generation?

Fourth and fifth. Fourth because it was my first generation, and fifth because it actually is my favorite generation.

Any idea when you're getting monsters hunter generation? I really want to play with you in generations.

Once I get it and understand the controls, I'll contact you.

what's the best part about Mighty No. 9?

Fuck off.
Actually, in all seriousness, I liked how the boss robots you saved came and helped you in certain courses. I just wish I actually cared about any of them so that game mechanic could actually be relevant.

Who/what was the first thing you had a wank over?

None of your concern! :rainbowlaugh:

Ayy lmao?

Favorite female anime pokemon companion?

Hmm... Dawn. I grew up with the Diamond and Pearl series, and I watched it with my sister every morning before we went to school.

Favorite dubbed Digimon season?

Tamers.

Ha! You thought I was gonna say the original, right? :rainbowlaugh:

Favorite superhero?

Iron Man all the way.

What is the most horrifying moment of your life.

My life. :rainbowlaugh:

What is the best moment of your life

Since my life is garbage right now, my future best moment of my life would probably be the day my kid is born.

What is your greatest fear.

Losing those I love the most.

What is your favorite anime?

RWBY.

Duh.

What is your favorite movie?

Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back

Who is your favorite character from anything?

Well fuck me sideways, I have a lot of them.

Ruby Rose (RWBY):
She's fun-loving and innocent, making her character development in the form of horrible things happening to her and those around her all the more sad. By Vol. 4 she had to grow up quickly to protect those she loves, which makes it even sadder when you realize she missed out on being a teenager. Nonetheless, she's a strong character in the show, even if her actual character development didn't start until halfway through Vol. 2.

Luke Skywalker (Star Wars):
An oldie but a goodie, Luke starts out whiny and somewhat childish and grows into a mature and respected Jedi Knight by the end of Return of the Jedi. I love his character development because of how classic it is, and it paved the way for even more classic stuff in the future. Besides, I can just really relate to him in some ways, like the fact we both have blue eyes. And that's about it.

Shulk (Xenoblade Chronicles):
He's a total nerd, and he's also the man you have to trust in order to save the world. I love this aspect of his character because of how different it is. In the sea of brave, courageous knights or whatever, you have this dork running around Bionis and Mechonis trying to locate the evil robots who killed his girlfriend. He's also kind, clumsy, friendly, and has enough flaws that he doesn't seem like a Gary Stu.

I have more characters, but I'll spare you your life.

I'm writing a RWBY/MLP crossover fic at the moment, and I read some of your OC blogs, and I'm thinking it's possible (and pretty badass in theory) to add one of your characters into the story. Who would I have to ask if you like the idea and want to see this happen?

Wow.

Okay, that's pretty easy! While they are LongSean22's characters, he doesn't mind you using them without his permission so long as you credit him and tell your audience that the characters are his and not yours. Still, if you're really unsure if you should use them or not, give him a quick PM on deviantART. He's a super nice guy and no doubt he'll say you can put his characters in your story.

If you could change anything about MLP or RWBY, what would it be?

I would change the somewhat decent animation of RWBY's Vol. 1 and turn it into the masterpiece that are Volumes 3 and 4.

How do I shot web?

You already did if you just shot it. :derpytongue2:

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions Kamek!

Called #1, of course Square should remake Chrono Trigger! Or Xenogears, ya know, Xenogears is pretty good, even if they ran out of money on disc 2 which led to most of it being cut scenes.:twilightblush:

You're a kid now, you're a squid now! You're a kid, you're a squid, you're a kid you're a squid!~

Excellent choice.

Again, thanks for taking the time to do this AMA Kamek!:pinkiehappy:

I was being serious, unfortunately. I don't know how but now it's even worse than in 3. :fluttercry:
It's currently the only mission both me and my brother failed.

Thanks for doing this and now it's time for me to comment on your comments on my questions:

Ohhh, a good one. Nintendo knows how to remake. (My first was Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World:rainbowkiss:)
Also I could guess your age from this answer alone.

Wow, I completely forgot the latter, but yeah Qrow is badass

Wow, I expected you to take something unexpected, but that's why it's expectable.

And another question that just came into my mind: If you could add any character into Smash, who would it be? :derpyderp1:Wait, probably Ruby Rose (I admit it'd be awesome)
Alright, any character with realistic chances:derpytongue2:

I knew I should have tacked on "besides RWBY".:rainbowlaugh:

I've also never heard of Xenogears before. Sorry! :twilightsheepish: But yeah, I wasn't kidding when I said Square is making a spiritual successor to Chrono Trigger in the from of "I am Setsuna".

I think my initial hatred of the Plesioth was because it had access to underwater bullcrap. Now that underwater shit is over and done with, how could Plesioth be any harder?

*goes onto Monster Hunter Wiki*

- Plesioth can stay in the water despite there being no underwater combat.
- When in Rage Mode, Plesioth will swing its head from side to side while breathing its water beam.
- Plesioth now has a stronger version of its Hip Check, in which it slowly readies itself to strike before actually attacking.
- Now, when Plesioth has recently jumped out of water, some of its physical attacks cause Waterblight.
- Its bite now causes the status effect, Sleep.

FUCK. MY. LIFE.

Thank you!

I would without a doubt add Ruby to the roster, but I would also add Shovel Knight, Shantae, and probably even Lilac from Freedom Planet. Did I mention I REALLY like indie games? :rainbowkiss:

4114081
Then, unfortunately, my answer would have been naught. I don't really like anime, see? :twilightsheepish:

4114238 I agree completely.

4114247 Hey, to each his own. Keeps things interesting.

4114233
Ah, Xenogears was a PS1 Square RPG, the team who made it later went onto do Xenosaga on the PS2 and, most recently, Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii :) and Setsuna is on my watch list :)

4114245
Yes. Yes you did. (also that you only played five, but whatevs)
And I agree with each character.

Shantae for Smash!
1/2 Genie-hero hype!
Freedom Planet 2 hype!
