Looks like in addition to my first story to reach the featured box, I've just had my first story to reach 100 likes. So woot, and thank you all for your ongoing interest in my work, especially for Orange You Glad We Wed, and the hundred likes on It's a Harsh, Hyper Life
So, I have now gotten about a K each into my secret project, and the Applejack Apotheosis. Secrets must remain secrets, but here's a bit of AJ purple prose for you to regret requesting back at 50 followers. :P
Set just after the Hyperverse's version of Mane Attraction:
There wouldn't be a lot about what I actually saw. About how three alicorns, okay, three alicorn adults and one colt, and their three compatriots had been forced to intervene or risk catastrophic breakthrough in the walls of reality. There'd be pieces about how the Elements of Harmony had organized and backed the concert. Stirring pieces of vapidity about how they'd come together after the oh-so-normal drama between manager and star to make sure that it didn't just happen, but had been a huge success. But that Equestria had almost been destroyed, again? Better nopony knew but the Princesses and us.
I remembered how Svengallop got me the first time. I hadn't been ready. I hadn't even expected anything even like him. But he was coming, and I was ready now. We'd been prepared, and just had to wait for the moment to lure him in.
I just hoped she'd make it in time.
