Updates on The Peaceful Warrior

Hey, everyone! I hope you are all doing well, and you're having a great day. If you're reading this, it means you probably like me or my story enough to follow it, so thank you for that.

With that said, there hasn't been a chapter in two months, and I don't find that acceptable. Sometime during the summer, I just lost my interest in writing the story, and I tried to power through it, but the results always seemed rushed or just bad. I am now on my third full rewrite of this chapter and I don't know if even this will be the final.

In any case, I am going to be officially putting the story on Hiatus. I am going to try and build up a backlog of chapters so that when I return, we can have consistent monthly posting again.

In other news, I am going to be removing this story from the "Displaced" Group in light of ongoing drama and the generally toxic thread that seems to reappear every few months or so. That means that this will now be a stand-alone story, and will not be crossing over with any other fics. To any authors that may have wanted this crossover, I apologize, but I feel like this is the best direction I can go with my story to preserve it as it is. I will also be leaving the group, as it no longer appeals to me the way it did when I joined. It is no longer a fun place to roam the threads and chat, but rather a cesspool of toxicity.

I don't blame the group itself, but rather a single man that has caused nothing but problems and drama since attempting to "adopt the group."

Sorry for rambling, but tl;dr is that I'm putting the story on hiatus, and removing it from Displaced. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I believe it's for the best.
