    Something something long delays

What even is everything. I've been dragging my feet for way longer than I ever wanted (or planned) to. Between weddings, graduations, ridiculous deadlines, and inexplicable periods of bleh, it's safe to say I was a little optimistic four months ago about getting the ball rolling. All those times saying "I can't do it" and "maybe

Getting a fresh chapter squeezed in for Pi Day was my main goal this week. Mission accomplished! Pinkie would be pleased (probably).

    I Aten't Dead

So I haven't exactly put out much work over the last few months. I'm really sorry about that; between my laptop breaking all the time, the freelance work piling on, and general ennui and angst, I've been dragging my feet like a snail getting drunk on molasses. What even is everything. I've been dragging my feet for way longer than I ever wanted (or planned) to. Between weddings, graduations, ridiculous deadlines, and inexplicable periods of bleh, it's safe to say I was a little optimistic four months ago about getting the ball rolling. All those times saying "I can't do it" and "maybe tomorrow" add up fast.

me remembering when I could write more than 5k words a year

These last few days I've been trying to feed that writer's block into the woodchipper, because taking too long to write horse words is even worse than being (un)comfortably numb. While I resume plunking words on the screen and hoping they stick, I'm also planning on looking over a couple issues in a couple fics: tweaking the paragraph spacing of Diary of an Aspiring Tyrant, and cleaning up the "sequence of events" doc for 3:14 PM enough to post it in a blog post or wherever. They're little things, but they've been bugging me for ages, so getting those off my mind will be awesome.

Thanks for bearing with me, all. :twilightsheepish:
