    Changelings and I

As some of you might know, I absolutely love changelings. I also don't plan on making blog posts very often, so when I discovered today that an episode about a changeling in the Crystal Empire is in the works, I went right to it's wiki page and decided to make a post here. I'm interested in seeing not only another changeling episode since A Canterlot Wedding, but also exactly why the changeling

    It Started As A One-Shot

Well, since I'm watching a live Joel Vinesauce stream during the time I usually work on The Half of It, I've decided to give an update on the story's progress while I watch. So as the title says, this started as a one-shot but I let it grow into a full length story. This is why I've only had one chapter up for several months, but I've been working on it since then. I've planned at least 20

As some of you might know, I absolutely love changelings. I also don't plan on making blog posts very often, so when I discovered today that an episode about a changeling in the Crystal Empire is in the works, I went right to it's wiki page and decided to make a post here. I'm interested in seeing not only another changeling episode since A Canterlot Wedding, but also exactly why the changeling is specifically in the Empire. Is he there because it's filled with more love than anywhere else in Equestria? Does he actually just want to live there in peace?

But on to something of a similar vein. For some reason I find chitin to be... creepy to say the least. So I'd imagine a chitinous horse would be just as off-putting for me as any chitinous creature, yet I never thought about that until now. It's especially odd, because I watched the Canterlot Wedding episode on the day it came out (which was the same day I attended a wedding for the first time :pinkiehappy:), which was several years ago. There's a few reasons why I pretty much overlooked the chitin. One was their ability to shape-shift into any pony, because I love the versatility that ability gives. Another one was the show's art style, which made their chitin look far less off-putting. The last one was the potential that changelings could offer in love stories, depending on the fanon used. And now that I think about it, this second paragraph somehow feels vaguely like foreshadowing... but probably more poetic.
