Thoughts about future LV chapters. · 10:19am Jul 16th, 2016
What's up everyone, hope things are going well for you all. I thought I'd write this really quickly, in regards to future chapters of Loyalty's Vengeance. I've thankfully been bitten by a creative bug, I say thankfully for many reasons, and have been able to publish two chapters for LV. First off, I hope those who read it enjoyed it. Second, I would like to thank all of you who did read it and tell you that something as simple as views are greatly appreciated. The third point I would like to bring up is actually my original reason for writing this, and that is to ask a question. Now Loyalty's Vengeance is a story that has never strayed from gore, violence, or really anything you couldn't find in a modern action movie. With that being said my next two chapters will be a deep look into the life, and psyche, of an irreparably damaged pony. My point is that the next two chapters, or at least one of them, will be rather heavy on the macabre. What does all this mean? I'm glad you asked . . . or at least the voice in my head did. I was wanting to know all of your thoughts on this. Personally I believe there is such a thing as too much gore, but I also believe a higher than usual amount of gore is needed for the aforementioned chapters. Senseless gore is bothersome to me, but to properly convey the extent of the psychological damage this unnamed pony has suffered . . . I believe it's needed. However I am just a writer, while you all are the readers. I'd hate to publish anything that would dissuade any current, or future readers, from enjoying LV. I can assure any of you, worried about me increasing the gore for the entirety of the story that, I'll not be doing so. I will contain the increased graphic content to strictly the following chapters. . .
Chapter 17: The Horror Of Hospitality.
Chapter 18: Sweet Apple Sunset.
Once again I thank all of you who've read LV, and thank you for taking a moment to read this. I look forward to any and all opinions that are shared, and wish you all good fortune.
~Time to dash, Dash out~
Honestly, I don't care about how much gore is in the next two chapters, as long as the story supporting the gore remains as solid as ever.
4095542 Good to know, and I appreciate your thought on the matter.
4095759 No problem.
Though I am curious about something that's unrelated to the story, but it DID make me do a double take when I first noticed it:
Why did you change your username?
4095765 Well I thought a change would be appropriate, given that I'm trying to distance myself from old writing habits I had picked up. That's also my username/character name for just about everything outside of fimfic.
4095771 Ah.
Yeah, that makes sense.
Hello. then to start, share what you're saying about the gore too. do not get me wrong. I like to use when you need strong moments, provided that they do not become a continuous tete a tea. I'll tell you to see Rainbow Dash who must fight psychologically speaking against the same evil that she created ?. I like a lot, I mean really. convey what has sometimes lead to suffering. anger. pain. and you, you're doing it very clear and is that why your story I really like. and I will continue to follow with interest.
Although I'd like to know what they will be doing even Octavia. Vinyl, Redheart, but especially Trixie and Applejack.
See you
