    Additional Updates

What’s up fam- it’s your physically and temporally-absent boi here dropping back in.

Brief updates on life- been working my tail off (doctoring is hard) and got married last month. I haven’t forgotten about you all. There’s still plenty of stories rattling around upstairs; it’s just a matter of finding time to put fingers to the keyboard.

Watched it on opening day on Netflix.

Pretty good, actually. Looking forward to writing new ponies to snug, and I bet the TV universe will be really interesting!

My Little Pony Fair, the Aftermath · 7:06am Jul 12th, 2016

It was pretty good! I had a great time, entered a costume contest, spoke briefly with a fellow fanfiction writer, and bought a whole ton of merchandise (including five plushies, because I have a problem).
If the highlight of last year's MLP Fair was interrogating Andrea Libman about her taste in wine (something that is still viewable on YouTube if one looks hard enough), the highlight of this year's was definitely speaking with official IDW MLP comic artist Agnes Garbowska. She was selling some comic versions (on which she had done either the cover or interior art) that had empty back covers- and she would do sketches or watercolors on the back!
I unfortunately can't get the picture-in-post feature to work here, so here's a link to a picture of her, myself and the Luna she drew for me:

She was super cool to talk to. When I asked for Flitter (one of my favorite ponies) as a sketch on the back of a comic, she had to look up her design... and then said, "Oh! I haven't drawn her before, I'll put her in the next issue I do," and took a screenshot. (Later, I explained she was Cloudchaser's sister, to which she exclaimed, "Oh, I know Cloudchaser!" Who says CC never gets any love??) It is so cool to think that I may have an (exceptionally limited) influence on an MLP comic.
Anyway, it was solid. Always good fun. Below are some more photos (new plushies, Ms. Garbowska's sketches and watercolors on the backs of comics that I bought, a random homestucker (WHY!?) and so on). Thanks for reading!
