So I meant to do this Sunday, but I couldn't because of work. So yeah, I went to the Friday and Saturday of the convention and I had so much fun! So who did I run into and see? Well, the second after me and my sister get our badges, we run into Jaxblade (ran into him like 20 times throughout the con), Paleo, Saberspark (saw those two a few times), ACRacebest and AnimatedJames. Right after we get our badges. Great start to the con! I also got autographs and a pic with Michelle Creber and Black Gryph0n which really made my day. Ran into most of those guys at the bronies react panel too along with a couple others (Viva, Littleshy and BronyDanceParty). On that day, I also met my buddy DeluxeMagnum and a little later, we ran into Robcake, the guy who wrote My Little Dashie along with Majin Syeekoh . On that same day, we also saw Gamenut321 and Toon Critic (We saw him a bunch of times) along with Disneyfanatic (is that how you spell it? Don't know her, but mys sister does know her) . And that was only Friday.
Before I continue, I just want to talk about meeting Black Gryph0n and Michelle Creber real quick. So back in April, I won a hat in their livestream when they were releasing their Getting Stronger album (great album by the way). I wore the hat Friday because I wanted Gabe and Michelle to sign it. So I'm in line getting ready, super nervous. I practically worship the ground they walk on. So I'm up next and Monique (Michelle's mom) greets me with a smile. I shake her hand and tell her who I am and she remembers me! That was really something right there. She's talking to me like we've known each other for years. Odd, but it kept things normal too (weird eh). So I move over to Gabe and Michelle and I am super happy. Monique says to them "Guys, this is Nicky, the guy who won the hat in the livestream!" Both of their eyes go wide and they have those open mouthed grins. They are all like: "Oh my god! Hi! How are you?" like as if we've been friends and we haven't seen each other in forever. It's kind of weird, but good. We talk for a little, got a small print and my hat signed by them, got a pic with them. I told them (pre picture) that they and MicTheMicrophone were reasons why I wanted to get into brony music and Gabe told me, "send some of your stuff my way." That was so great to hear! I could've explode in happiness then.
So that was my encounter with Michelle and Gabe
So Saturday, me and my sister met ILoveKimPossibleALot and the sis was super excited! She was so excited to meet her fave analysis. We also got to see SilverQuill, Dr Wolf and a bunch of others from the TF2 Analysis group (I don't watch much of them aside from KP, but it does look cool). Now she was twice as excited to see Silver than KP. We also did go the the Elements of Harmony panel which was lit af! Cool seeing the Mane Six up on stage was so cool! I also did run into Jennabun and holy crap she is tiny! But it was awesome to see her. I also see Larson this year. I didn't talk to him but I did see him which was nice. Also spotted Baasik (Black Gryph0n's brother).
I didn't know it until the con started, but Dusty wasn't there which was sad. But hey, if I go again next year (if I do go next year) hopefully I can see him.
I went to some awesome panels, sang with random strangers, talked to some real cool people, got a little art work and some autographs (KP, Black Gryphon and Michelle Creber), met a ton of horse famous people, it was a great con!
