And update and a signal boost

So, first thing's first, two friends of mine were recently in an accident while moving. They're fine other than one of them got a broken arm, but the vehicle that was in the accident was a U-Haul and they now have some pretty bad late fees.

The following blog will explain more.

    New Chapter, and Kofi

Going to get the Kofi out of the way first, since it's going to be a boring explanation and I know you all want to see the exciting stuff, but I really need to talk about it because I don't feel like I can just slap a "Please buy me a kofi!" on my author's notes without one. I'm not begging for money. But my household could use a little bit of extra cashflow to help with things.

A new story in an old universe!

So, not written by me, I am still working on the next chapter of Twilight's Dawn and you can blame a certain changeling story getting my hooked the past week or so for it's delay (And there's a sequel too! *Laughs then cries*)

    As promised

    Chapter 5 has been posted!

It's not a happy chapter by any means, but it's the true start of the war, and Twilight's struggle to survive alongside the UNSC on Harvest.

Truthfully, it was a hard chapter to write, mostly because I kept getting side-tracked by research and Foxhole xD

One year. · 2:06am Jul 9th, 2016

One year ago today, I published the first chapter of my first story here on FimFiction; Memories of Midnight.

It's an amazing thing to me, honestly, to look back and see that I've not only been here for a year, but that over that year I have continued to publish works of fiction, but also have progressed so much as an author. Not to mention, over that year I've found some truly amazing friends and co-conspirators within the Expanded Wonderverse. I truly believe I'd not been here today, writing this blog, if not for their support and friendship.

But, back to the story that started it all.

Memories of Midnight, despite being a year most or less over, still holds a special place in my heart and the characters I wrote in it continue to pop up in my stories and influance the Expanded Universe in ways that many of you will not see for a long time. Midnight, especially, is a character I fell in love with from the first moment I put pen to paper, and she has evolved over the past year of writing and continues to be my absolute favorite character I've written next to Daring/Leaf, Prose, and Purple Rain.

And the story also brought in my first readers, who have stuck with me for this past year, of which I am thankful. Writing is a thankless task in many ways, becuase we as writers bear our hearts to the world and hope the world treats it kindly. With this story, I put a lot of my heart on display for the world, and the world reacted well to it. I am thankful for each and every reader I've gained over the past year, wether you've joined me when I posted Memories, or came along during one of my other stories.

I hope you all continue to love the stories I shall tell you all in the future, because I have many more stories yet to offer you all.

So, shall we see what the next year will bring us?

It really was, and going into it I knew how sad it was going to be, but even I wasn't prepared for just how much of an impact writing that one story would have on my life. Nor, honestly, how attached I would become to the characters.

And thanks, hearing that I am a good writer means a lot :twilightblush:

And I shall counter your attack with skittles... or a Nightshade plush... or both. A NIGHTSHADE TIED TO SKITTLES! Or a hug, one of these things will happen.
