Last time we heard from our lovely Babs Seed, she was singing in a Manehattan supper club, surrounded by her many admirers. Several exclaimed delight upon hearing that fantastic approach she takes to her songs, with one writer stating that the song selections she has are ''all very good'' and ''very nice''.

Babs Seed invites you here to indulge in what can be accurately described as A WORLD AND ENDLESS PARADISE. Babs provides a passionate, relaxing take on many of the songs here. There are some familiar songs here, such as ''Begin the Beguine'', ''Pennies from Heaven'', and ''I'm Old Fashioned'', and Babs also applies her fantastic touch to some of today's great hits, such as ''Corcovado'', ''On The Street Where You Live'' and ''Never On Sunday''.

Indeed, Babs could very well be right for stating at the beginning of the record that ''you have found a world of endless paradise, and that paradise is me.''

1---CORCOVADO (Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars) (Anthony Carlos Jobim)

Hello. My name is Babs Seed. I come from a town where paradise lays right at your footsteps. That little town is Manehattan. It's the town where I was born. It's a town I'm proud to live in. And it's a town I'm proud to be singing in. Well, you've just found yourself a world of paradise. That paradise is me. You happened to find me on what happens to be . . . .

A quiet nights of quiet stars
Quiet chords from my guitar
Floating on the silence
That surrounds us

Quiet thoughts and quiet dreams
Quiet walks by quiet streams
And a window that looks out
On Corcovado
Oh, how lovely

This is where I want to be
here with you so close to me
Until the final flicker of life's ember.

I who was lost and lonely
believing love was only
A bitter tragic joke,

have found with you,
the meaning of existence,
oh my love.

2---I'M OLD FASHIONED (Jerome Kern-Johnny Mercer)

I'm old fashioned
I love the moonlight
I love the old fashioned things

The sound of rain
Upon a window pane
The starry song that April sings

This year's fancies
Are passing fancies
But sighing sighs holding hands
These my heart understands

I know I'm old fashioned
But I don't mind it
That's how I want to be
As long as you agree
To stay old fashioned with me

I'm old fashioned
But I don't mind it
That's how I want to be
As long as you agree
To stay old fashioned with me

Oh won't you stay old fashioned with me
Oh please stay old fashioned with me

3---BEGIN THE BEGUINE (Cole Porter)

When they begin the beguine
It brings back the sound of music so tender
It brings back a night of tropical splendor
It brings back a memory ever green

I'm with you once more, under the stars
And down by the shore, an orchestra's playing
And even the palms seem to be swaying
When they begin the beguine

To live it again is past all endeavor
Except when that tune clutches my heart
And there we are, swearing to love forever
And promising never, never to part

What moments divine, what rapture serene
'Till clouds came along to disperse the joys we had tasted
And now when I hear people curse the chance that was wasted
I know but too well what they mean

So don't let them begin the beguine
Let the love that was once a fire remain an ember
Let it sleep like the dead desire I only remember
When they begin the beguine

Oh yes, let them begin the beguine, make them play
'Till the stars that were there before return above you
'Till you whisper to me once more, darling, I love you

And we suddenly know What heaven we're in
When they begin the beguine
When they begin the beguine
When they begin the beguine
When they begin the beguine . . .

4---IT MIGHT AS WELL BE SPRING (from the 20th Century-Fox
film ''State Fair) (Richard Rodgers-Oscar Hammerstein II)

I'm as restless as a willow in a windstorm,
I'm as jumpy as a puppet on a string.
I'd say that I had spring fever,
But I know it isn't spring.

I'm starry-eyed and vaguely discontented
Like a nightingale without a song to sing.
Oh, why should I have spring fever
When it isn't even spring?

I keep wishing I were somewhere else,
Walking down a strange new street.
Hearing words that I have never heard
From a man I've yet to meet.

I'm as busy as a spider spinning daydreams,
I'm as giddy as a baby on a swing.
I haven't seen a crocus or a rosebud
Or a robin on the wing.

But I feel so gay,
In a melancholy way,
That it might as well be spring,
It might as well be spring.

5---PENNIES FROM HEAVEN (Arthur Johnston-Johnny Burke)

Every time it rains, it rains pennies from heaven
Don't you know each cloud contains pennies from heaven?
You'll find your fortune's fallin' all over the town
Be sure that your umbrella is upside down

Trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers
If you want the things you love, you must have showers
So, when you hear it thunder, don't run under a tree
There'll be pennies from heaven for you and me

Every time it rains, it rains pennies from heaven
Don't you know each cloud contains pennies from heaven?
You'll find your fortune's fallin' all over the town
Be sure that your umbrella is upside down

Trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers
If you want the things you love, you must have showers
So, when you hear it thunder, don't run under a tree
There'll be pennies from heaven for you and me

Every time it rains, it rains pennies from heaven
Don't you know each cloud contains pennies from heaven?
You'll find your fortune's fallin' all over the town
Be sure that your umbrella is upside down

Trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers
If you want the things you love, you must have showers
So, when you hear it thunder, don't run under a tree
There'll be pennies from heaven for you and me

6---ON THE STREET WHERE YOU LIVE (from the musical production
''My Fair Lady'') (Alan jay Lerner-Frederick Loewe)

I have often walked down this street before
But the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before
All at once am I several stories high
Knowing I'm on the street where you live

Are there lilac trees in the heart of town?
Can you hear a lark in any other part of town?
Does enchantment pour out of every door?
No, it's just on the street where you live

And oh, the towering feeling just to know somehow you are near
The overpowering feeling that any second you may suddenly appear

People stop and stare, they don't bother me
For there's nowhere else on earth that I would rather be
Let the time go by, I won't care if I
Can be here on the street where you live!

1---NEVER ON SUNDAY (from the United Artists motion picture
''Never on Sunday'') (Manos Hadjidakis-Billy Towne)

Oh, you can kiss me on a Monday
A Monday, a Monday is very very good
Or you can kiss me on a Tuesday
A Tuesday, a Tuesday in fact I wish you would

Or you can kiss me on a Wednesday a Thursday
A Friday and Saturday is best
But never ever on a Sunday, a Sunday, a Sunday
'Cause that's my day of rest

Most any day you can be my guest
Any day you say but my day of rest
Just name the day that you like the best
Only stay away on my day of rest

Oh, you can kiss me on a cool day, a hot day, a wet day
Which ever one you choose
Or try to kiss me on a gray day, a May day, a pay day
And see if I refuse

2---IT'S NOW OR NEVER ('O Sole Mio) (Gold-Schroeder-di Capua)

It's now or never
Come hold me tight
Kiss me my darling
Be mine tonight
Tomorrow will be too late
It's now or never
My love won't wait

When I first saw you
With your smile so tender
My heart was captured
My soul surrendered
I'd spend a lifetime
Waiting for the right time
Now that your near
The time is here at last

It's now or never
Come hold me tight
Kiss me my darling
Be mine tonight
Tomorrow will be too late
It's now or never
My love won't wait

Just like a willow
We would cry an ocean
If we lost true love
And sweet devotion
Your lips excite me
Let your arms invite me
For who knows when
We'll meet again this way

It's now or never
Come hold me tight
Kiss me my darling
Be mine tonight
Tomorrow will be too late
It's now or never
My love won't wait!

3---MISTY (Erroll Garner-Johnny Burke)

Look at me, I'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree
And I feel like I'm clingin' to a cloud
I can't understand I get misty just holding your hand

Walk my way and a thousand violins begin to play
Or it might be the sound of your hello
That music I hear I get misty the moment you're near

Can't you see that you're leading me on?
And it's just what I want you to do
Don't you notice how hopelessly I'm lost
That's why I'm following you

On my own when I wander through this wonderland alone
Never knowing my right foot from my left
My hat from my glove, I'm too misty and too much in love

Can't you see that you're leading me on?
And it's just what I want you to do
Don't you notice how hopelessly I'm lost
That's why I'm following you

On my own when I wander through this wonderland alone
Never knowing my right foot from my left
My hat from my glove, I'm too misty and too much in love.

4---STRANGER IN PARADISE (from the musical production ''Kismet'')
(Alan jay Lerner-Frederick Loewe)

Take my hand I'm a stranger in paradise
All lost in a wonderland
A stranger in paradise
If I stand starry-eyed
That's a danger in paradise
For mortals who stand beside an angel like

I saw your face and I ascended
Out of the commonplace into the rare
Somewhere in space I hang suspended
Until I know there's a chance that you care

Won't you answer this fervent prayer
Of a stranger in paradise?
Don't send me in dark despair
From all that I hunger for

But open your angel's arms
To the stranger in paradise
And tell him that he need be
a stranger no more.

5---LOVE AND OTHER THINGS IN FRANCE (Song from the Ivory Jackson
production ''Love (and other things) in France'', a Paramount release)
(Jesse Coffey)

You'll find love and other things in France
You'll find paradise and a lucky chance
to be among the fortunate few
who might find happy little times as you prance

And find love and other things in France
and as soon as you meet your lucky girl
You'll bet your lucky charms
if she isn't in your arms
when you find love and other things in France!

(repeat)

6---I'LL BE SEEING YOU (Irving Kahal-Sammy Fain)

I'll be seeing you
In all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
All day and through
In that small cafe
The park across the way
The children's carousel
The chestnut trees
The wishing well

I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day
In everything that's light and gay
I'll always think of you that way

I'll find you in the morning sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you

I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day
In everything that's light and gay
I'll always think of you that way.
