FFXIV Gil Remove withdraw queue pop · 6:30am Jul 4th, 2016
This is kind of annoying. Today i was queue up for weepingcity. And i got the pop up atleast 10 times during 30 min of waiting to get in. At the same time i had to get rdy for work in 2 hour so i had time. If people queue for something then COMMENCE IT. I dont give a darn thing that you have to to other stuff. Think atleast 2-3 times in ur tiny brain before queue up for something..*rant*.ur wasting MY and other players time and gaming experience. Just stop pls.
Yeah another tant thread.
Ah, reminds me of the good old days when it would take like 20-30 pops for CT (LotA) to finally get a full group up and ready.
I would spend like 90 minutes in those queues constantly popping and re-queuing.
Sometimes it's unavoidable. I've missed a queue due to zoning into Idyleshire once or twice due to its lengthy load time.
It's incredibly annoying, but it happens in all group content. Usually the timer runs out, meaning someone missed it, not just changed their mind. And to be fair, I'd much rather get put back in line to get someone who's actually at their computer than start with AFK members.
But yeah, I think we've all raged a little at that one dps that can never click the damn accept!
How about they just adjust how a withdrawal is handled?
If 2 dps don't click commence and there are at least 2 dps sitting still in line, give those 2 dps a 45 second popup window. The other 22 people don't need to get a fail message and click accept again. If there aren't enough people to fill the roles that withdrew, then handle it the way they currently do FF14GilHub.
I think that 45s is just way too short considering 1m30s loading times in this game. For short queues I basically sit in the same zone so I don't miss it, but for long queues you'll be wasting your time if you can't go into a loading screen.
IMO, they should increase it to 2m, then you can load, take a bio break, and still not miss it, and overall it's not that much of a difference.
What I wish is that if you're in a cutscene it would just skip you and place you back in queue next in line.
I hate having to choose between watching a cutscene and commencing a duty.
