My Fimfiction Anniversary Mark II & Ask Me Anything · 11:51pm Jul 2nd, 2016

With the calendar date of July 2nd passing by yet again, this time in the year 2016 a.d., I have now been a member of Fimfiction for two years. I am convinced that clocks have wings, because time often flies faster than you realize. :rainbowderp:

Anyway, since I did the same thing last year, I figured I would just make this into another "Ask Me Anything" blog as well to celebrate my time here. Go ahead and fire your questions at me! :rainbowdetermined2:

Thoughts on this song?

Did you happen to see my hammer? I have been looking for it all day.

What's your favorite game? How did you get your name? Why do you like the peolle you meet on Fimfiction,

I couldn't help but notice that as an admin you are incredibly regular and professional.

I must ask, are you in fact a automated message made flesh? Possibly. I don't know if you are in fact flesh.

I would also like to congratulate you on lasting two years, whether you are flesh or not. I don't discriminate.

Firstly, congrats! :yay:
Secondly, who is/are your favorite Youtuber(s)?

Happy FIMFicaverssary! :yay:!

Happy FiMFic-Aversary!

As for my question; have you heard about the Life Stream?

Seriously now; Which Zelda game is your favorite?

That had a rather somber mood to it.

You are the third person to ask me if I'm a "gam" expert. No, I'm not. Also, despite my choice of username, I can't really call myself a game xpert (I was about 10 years old when I first came up with this handle) because I actually kinda suck at some games. :twilightsheepish:

4063940
I'm sure that's a reference to something, but I don't get it. No, I have not seen your hammer, but I have seen a couple of my dad's hammers lying around today while helping him work on something.

4063988
There are so many choices for me to pick from, but I'd have to say my personal favorite game of all time is Dark Cloud 2 for the Playstation 2. :twistnerd:

As for how I got my username: Like I mentioned above, I was around 10 years old when I first thought of it. When I was that age, combining "game" and "expert" and squishing the two letter "e"s together just sounded like a cool idea. It's simply just stuck with me ever since.

I like most of the people I meet on Fimfiction because this is really the first time I've actually been a part of the fandom rather than simply just a fan of something. I love the community aspect here.

Thanks for the compliments, and I can assure you that I am, in fact, a person of flesh. Beep-beep-boop-bop. :derpytongue2:

4064029
Thanks! I actually don't have a favorite YouTuber, but I suppose I've been enjoying some of Watchmojo's Top Ten videos for a while. :applejackunsure:

4064078
Thank you! :yay:

4064115
No, I have not heard of the Life Stream, and I don't think I'd be interested. *Checks comic* Aw, cra—

My favorite Legend of Zelda game is Wind Waker for the GameCube. Hands-down. :ajsmug:

4064436
Oooo~! I adored that style so much. :pinkiehappy: For me, it was Ocarina of Time. It was my childhood, so I don't think I'll ever like any of the others nearly so much.

Is it bad that I have the 'Church of the One Winged Angel' T-Shirt signed by Scott himself? I'm an official Jenova's Witness!

I can assure you that I am, in fact, a person of flesh. Beep-beep-boop-bop.

I feel that's exactly what a suspicious automated message would say. :trixieshiftright:

How do you feel about paradoxes? If I said 'this statement is a lie', would you implode?

4064436 Good to know. Happy fimfic-averssary.

4064436 The song makes a bit more sense when you have some context of the storyline it's referring to, and I had forgotten you haven't played Fallout yet. :twilightblush::facehoof:
Anyways, happy anniversary, my friend!

4064446
Ocarina was actually my first Zelda game as well (aside from store demos or watching someone else play), since my GameCube came with a copy of the Master Quest remake. I never got around to beating it, though... I had it for a few years but I've unfortunately since "lost" it after I let someone borrow it in exchange for borrowing their Twilight Princess. I returned their game after a while (I never got around to beating that one either), but they conveinently "forgot" to return my game... :ajsleepy:

4064453

I feel that's exactly what a suspicious automated message would say. :trixieshiftright:

Somehow, I get the feeling that's what you would have said no matter what I chose to say. :trixieshiftleft:

No, I wouldn't implode because I've seen that phrase before and haven't suffered any ill effects, but I seem to have recently caused someone else's brain to shut down from a paradox of my own making... :pinkiecrazy: (Thankfully, 4064462 seems to have recovered.)

4064525
With or without context, I'd say that's still a somber mood.

4064800 I meant more so that the song is about a serial killer in the game that has a pretty interesting view on morality, and that the somber mood is a bit more powerful when you know the character it's about. Either way, thanks for giving it a listen.

4064800 To be fair, I definitely was going to say that no matter what you said. In any case, congratulations on lasting two years. May you last many more.

4064436 Nope, no reference, just something random

4064819
Okay, I think I see what you mean now. Anytime.

4065015
I have not, but I'd certainly like to someday.

4065017

I definitely was going to say that no matter what you said.

I knew it! :coolphoto: (Thanks again for the well wishes.)

4065104
...Oh. :derpytongue2:

4065695
Yeah, if I ever get a chance, it'll have to be the DS version.

Do you like FPS games?

4065775
They're alright. I've had plenty of fun with some of my high school friends playing Halo and Call of Duty and a few other FPS games a few years ago, but I kinda suck at that genre. I actually prefer third-person shooters (Star Wars Battlefront II, Star Fox: Assault, Mass Effect, etc.) over first-person ones.

4065849 Ah. I love to play the Battlefield games.:rainbowdetermined2:

4065858
...I don't think I've ever played a Battlefield game. :applejackunsure:

How did you became Admin on the Writers and self-promotion groups?

4273416
Sorry for taking so long to respond. I was starting to reply earlier, but my dad needed help with a project, and then I got distracted elsewhere on the site and almost forgot to check my notifications again. :twilightsheepish:

Anyway, I became an admin of The Shameless Self-Promotion Bureau mainly because I just kinda stepped in once in a while and reminded people about the rules they were in danger of breaking before one of the admins at the time managed to get there. (Mostly just reminding people not to link directly to Mature stories.) In all honesty, I was doing that because I was kinda hoping to achieve admin status there. :scootangel: After a while, I received a PM asking if I wanted to be an admin there so I could actually enforce the rules rather than just remind people about them.

As for becoming an admin of The Writer's Group, it was a few months after I became an admin in SSPB. I received a PM basically stating that a couple of people were saying good things behind my back and suggested me to become a TWG admin to some of the other admins there. I later found out that I was suggested by a couple of other people who are also admins in both TWG & SSPB, and the main reason they suggested me is because I usually always tried to quote (and link) the particular rule when locking threads to prevent confusion, and they felt that the same things that made me a good admin in SSPB would make me a good admin in TWG.
