Yup. I'm a sucker for a writing contests, especially if the premise is novel enough. Check out Estee's Swift Selections Contest.
The premise is to fit the lyrics of Taylor Swift's song Blank Space into one of the tag categories of FIMfiction. Only one entry was allowed per tag. I was the last to enter and so was stuck with "Slice of Life". I so wanted to do a Science Fiction epic with this, but no, the only way for me to go with this was... a ship fic of the shippiest proportions!
So, here it sails, Pas De Deux. I actually think I managed to fit the them of the song into a very plausible scenario that nevertheless remains a "slice of life".

Now back to much more serious writing - Chapter four of O Blessed Night, where the night is about to get very busy indeed!
