A Year in Equestria · 7:14pm Jun 29th, 2016
So I've been wondering... just what is the actual chronological order of the show's events? By this, I mean major holidays, festivals, and fairs that happen annually. Here's what I pretty much have figured out, starting from the beginning of a human year:
~The Grand Galloping Gala (Human equivalent to New Year's Eve; this wasn't mentioned on the show, but the Official MLP Twitter and Facebook pages said so.)
~Hearts and Hooves Day (Equivalent to Valentine's Day, however, the animation makes it so it does not appear to be in the pony equivalent of February.)
~Winter Wrap-Up (Equivalent to the day before the Spring Equinox.)
~Summer Sun Celebration (Equivalent to the Summer Solstice.)
~The Equestria Games (Similar to the Summer Olympics.)
~The Summer Harvest Parade (Would take place in late summer, because that is when the harvest is ready.)
~Cider Season (Though apples in Equestria can be picked almost year-round, cider in the human world is ready early Fall)
~Nightmare Night (Equivalent to Halloween.)
~The Running of the Leaves (Would take place in late fall; since most of the leaves are still on the trees/ are beginning to change color during Nightmare Night.)
~Hearth's Warming Eve/ the Hearth's Warming Pageant (Equivalent to Christmas Eve/ Christmas Pageants)
~Hearth's Warming (Equivalent to Christmas)
Other major events that I'd think be in Spring or Summer:
~The Young Flyer Competition
~The Sisterhooves Social
~The Crystal Faire
~The Ponyville Days Festival
~The Foal and Filly Fair
So, what do you guys think, how far off am I? Does Hearts and Hooves Day actually happen in the pony equivalent of February, or does it take place sometime else? Feel free to comment what you think below!
