Finally made it to Babscon

Get yourself a Jawbone. One of the older ones. It'll be like $30 at this point. Download the app. Log in your food (honestly), go for walks, and just do what the app says. It works well.

Do you have a plan for losing the weight?

I was on a ketogenic diet (No sugar, low-carb) from January to May and lost 40 pounds. It's tough, but I recommend it if you are serious about weight loss.

Otherwise, regular exercise and using apps like Lose It can be effective.

Or follow the: "I can't eat this unless I handwrite what I'm eating down on paper" diet. That's also useful and prevents unconscious eating.
