Moving with my family to Hawaii!

I am so excited about being able to visit Hawaii for the first time! And with my family too! Oh so many things I'm very much excited about! My family will only stay in Hawaii for two weeks to see my father's family reunion. I've seen my mother's side and now I get to see his case.

Even though it's only two weeks, I want to make this visit worth my time! I know I said this already but am I hyped for this! Hawaii here I come!

Which island are you going to? I've been to Oahu and Maui, but spent most of my time on the big Island, jumping between the Kona and Hilo side. My father actually lives on Hilo side, but he spent five years over on the Kona side.I can tell you right now; listen to the music of Bruddah Iz. He's pretty much a national hero over on the Islands. Be good to the locals and they'll be good to you.
Also, keep an eye out for unmarked beaches; the usual spots are always backed with tourists, but if you find a good spot, you'll be able to see things more beautiful than you'd see in a crowded beach. Don't be afraid to ask a friendly local to point you to a quiet spot, either. They're usually very accommodating, so long as you're polite.
