Sometimes I look at the live reader count on an unsubmitted document and I get excited for a moment because I think someone is reading my shit, until I realize that it's just because I have the same file open in two different windows.

Quick update, still alive, trying to urge myself to write every day. Something I haven't done in a long time. It's doing wonders for my mood, actually, in a way that I really didn't anticipate at all.

Been working on a few different things. The next chapter of Pony Espionage is currently in beta; I'm looking forward to putting that out there and facing a lot of very confused readers asking why it took me two years to turn that out. My Little Immortal updated again to... little fanfare.

In addition to that, there's my new ongoing-and-occasionally-updating series "Not All Who Dream Despair," in which Luna visits ponies who aren't in the grip of episodic crises. In the first chapter, Luna learns that Spike's fascination with Rarity is incredibly Freudian and also that Spike enjoys abusing himself or something. In the next chapter, Pinkie Pie dreams that she runs her own brewery.

And on top of that, I have two shorter, less vigorous pieces in the works. One is about Rarity learning that alcoholism is not the way to cope with relationship drama. In the other, Discord cosplays as Clarence Darrow.

So, yeah, no big deal here. Just want you guys to know that I haven't taken off again. Yet.
