Soda taste #1 · 4:36am Jun 24th, 2016
So my husband and I found a store with a bunch of different sodas and other drinks some i've never even heard of. So we decided to try every non alcoholic drink. For our first soda continue on.
So the first soda we are trying is called Saranac Shirley temple.
Foals- Alright let's try this..
Hubby- My first thought, i've tasted this before.
Foals-Yeah cough syrup..
Hubby- No... cotton candy, yeah, that's what this is liquid cotton candy. Super sweet.
So would we drink it again?
Foals- That would be a No, way to much like sweet cough syrup. Kids version. When i'm enjoying soda I don't wanna think about being sick.
Hubby- Is the hemlock taken
Foals- 2 out of 10
Hubby- 3 out of 10
Like the films by the actress this soda is named after it is sickly sweet. Till next time!
I'm not surprised. A proper Shirley Temple is 4 or 5:1 (depending on how soon you want diabetes) lemon-lime soda and grenadine (a syrup made from pomegranates), with a maraschino cherry. Already very sweet, it gets even worse with low-quality soda and grenadine, which are usually packed with extra sugar and/or high fructose corn syrup.
If you want something that's, say, a bit more out there than Jones soda, but get sick of trying stuff that no one's ever heard of, I highly recommend Jarritos soda. I'm particularly fond of the pineapple and tamarind flavors, but I've never had a Jarritos that I straight up didn't like. Keep an eye out for em on y'all's next soda adventure!
What was the name of the store? I've heard of some weird flavors for soda, one of the weirdest being bacon flavor.

I saw two types of bacon soda when we were there, one with chocolate, one without
4046567 Ah. I've tried grape and orange soda. I also like cream soda.
