Now, now, before you go reminding me how crazy I am, hear me out.
Recently, I've been thinking a lot about the founding of Equestria and how that came about. Of course, we've all seen the "official" story about the founding of the country, in the Hearth's Warming play, but I feel there is a lot more to the story than that.
Obviously, the coming-together of six individuals from three different "states" who don't like each other does not a country make overnight. Especially considering that Princess Platinum is the "daughter of the Unicorn King" and thus doesn't really have any cloudt. There would have had to be a series of events that led to the eventual creation of the new nation.
Luckily for all of you, I have figured out my headcanon about the situation, and it aligns completely with everything which is currently canon, which, to be fair, is not much.
And so I announce my upcoming story dealing with this very subject. The working (and boring, if you ask me) title is "The Birth of Equestria", which I will probably change. And, to all of you who may think I'm biting off too much again. I already, as of this very moment, have the first two chapters written, and have it pretty much mapped out the order of events.
Of course, I can still not upload anything until August. But there will be a lot of stuff coming from my pen when that time comes.

Those names are better, but I'm still not feeling them. The first one sounds like a documentary. The second one is an Abe Lincoln rip, which I would prefer not to do (though it is the best of the three). And the third sounds like a prequel to the story I'm writing, which would detail the rise of the "Unicorn King" (who actually has a name and we have all heard it, stay tuned).
