It has been awhile since I last posted here, so I thought of posting once again. Of course there's not much to tell, though I did finish a story already and will have it up here soon. On a personal front my job is doing quite well. Or jobs, since I took two. One is as a sports writer and the other as a forums admin though for the latter I am still in training, so to speak.
Days like these there seems to be a dearth in EqG news, so it is a rather quiet time. I am not sure though if that would be true for the summer there in the U.S. (I live in Asia so summer here has just ended). Hopefully we will have EqG news from Hasbro this summer.
One of my main motivations for writing, both on the blog here as well as my fanfics, is that I just bought a new keyboard. It is my first mechanical keyboard, and so far I have been enjoying it. It is the Dragonwar Atomos mechanical keyboard using Kailh Blue switches. Now I wonder how Sunset would think of such things? I can see her as a kind of geek, so I would think at some point she would be be building her own gaming PC, or at least one that would have gaming specs. And certainly if money isn't an object she would have a considerable collection of keyboards and maybe even mice.
Anyway, my ideal mechanical keyboard is the Razer Black Widow Chroma Overwatch edition keyboard. Now some don't seem to like Razer since they don't use Cherry MX switches, but that's fine by me since the Atomos use Kailh switches, the same ones that Razer uses. Or almost the same ones, since Razer seems to have its own designed switches that are made by Kailh. If cost isn't an issue I would probably have my own keyboard collection as well.
So, I will try to post more often and enjoy my new keyboard while at it. Using mechanical keyboards has been great and I now understand why those who have used one have largely been enthusiastic about it.
