After almost half a year, the revised Sweetie Belle arc of Obama Returns to Equestria is finally finished!
And this is far more than a mere revision. It's four times as long the old version, has a completely different storyline, and develops the plot much more. It basically takes what used to be a fairly pointless filler arc and turns it into one of the most important arcs in the series. Plus, it does away with the extremely slow pacing the story's had so far and returns to some Doctor story style action scenes and dark comedy.
It should be very exciting for both people actually following this series. I'll make some more undignified attempts to get other people to read the series after Act I is done. :p
I'm not even going have the gall to say I'm going to make a schedule anymore. It'll be out when it's out. But I usually like releasing stuff on Sundays. If there's nothing out by Monday, usually that means nothing that week.
Well, I think it was worth the wait. How much of Act I is left?
Also, you've made me think "The Donald" instead of Trump every time.. I like it.

Not too much, actually. The plan from the beginning has been to basically end Act I after the Sweetie Belle arc. Looking back, I actually had the gall to mention this sometime last year. :(
Anyway, look forward to the ending of Act I! A lot exciting things are coming up. :p
About the "the Donald" thing… I had read somewhere that it was a nickname Donald Trump himself came up with, and the gag was supposed to be, if you thought that was funny, you were stroking the Donald's ego by liking his ludicrous self-given nickname. But I just looked it up and discovered that the truth is apparently more complicated. Oops. :p

Yeah, a lot of what seem like random jokes in the series are references to things, even if it's quite vague. I might make a list of all the references when it's all done, but it would probably take forever. (It's slowed down quite a bit in Obama Returns, but the bit first Obama story probably has about a reference every other paragraph. :p )
