WritingSpirit here, still running on coffee and kept on reality's leash!
I finally found some time to sit down and type this, after finding some time to sit down and have a moment of contemplation. It's no eureka moment when you know that there are dozens on this site who came up with the same thing, but despite trying not to resort to it for the several months, I thought maybe it's time I should ask this question.
Should I Patreon?
Y/N
Well, there are many reasons for me asking this question, but I'll skip to the most important one.
When I first started on this site with Of Laurels & Lace, it never came to me that I might be doing this for the next four years. Now, it's the middle of 2016 and still, there's so much more that I wanted to do. I'm still juggling all my plans for my long-form stories — Diprosopus, Perhaps Death, Lovely Days and Worlds — while I have much more ideas for shorter works and one-shots. Honestly, I'm excited as ever to get it out, but some part of me knew that there was a chance it may never come to be.
That's mainly the reason that I wanted to do this, though I didn't want to go ahead and just do it. Not until I hear out the opinions of those who took the time to read said stories, who liked them and who had enough faith in me to give a follow. For that, I can't thank you guys and girls enough.
So, should I be a Patreonising figure or not? I honestly want to know what you guys think.
If it helps you out, then go for it friend. I loved "of laurels and lace" when I read it. Though sadly I won't be able to contribute anything to the patreon cause I'm barley able to pay my rent. Keep up the awesome work!
