Totally non-pony, but...
The homophobic gay alcoholic Muslim who had previously claimed to be a member of both Sunni and Shiite terrorist groups also apparently decided to donate blood about two weeks before he attacked his favorite gay nightclub, where he was a regular.
He participated in a mobile blood drive for the blood center which ended up providing most of the blood to victims of the attacks. One of the people who was working for the center recognized the shooter's picture from the news and realized he'd participated in a blood drive not two weeks prior, meaning that it is entirely possible that one of the Orlando shooting victims ended up getting blood from the guy who shot them.

I remember tuning into a radio interview earlier today that discussed the shooter was heavily drugged with the same mind-altering stuff ISIL/ISIS had pumped into a number of their other recent terrorist agents, but i was too late into the program to hear the name of it.

Yeah the shooter was definitely screwed up in the head, I think he was sorta at war with himself, he struggled with accepting that he was gay and all that back and forth-ness probably culminated in Orlando. But that's just my ideas.
Blood is blood. I donate every time the bus comes around (although half as often now that they have the funky gadget that only takes red blood cells, because they make you skip one after using it). What worries me more is that if everything else that has come out about him is true, in order to donate, he would have had to lie his (censored) off. Every time I go in to give blood, the 'deferral' reason list seems to grow until only a celibate Russian Orthodox nun who lives in a bubble suit would be able to check all the boxes the way they want. Seriously, I expect one of the questions to eventually be: "Have you, or any other member of your family ever engaged in sex with another human being who may or may not have been of the same gender or species..."
The irony of this (censored) piece of trash having potentially donated the blood to save the lives of one of his victims is interesting, though. I hope that in whatever lake of perpetually burning fire he is spending eternity, they throw him a popsicle. Bacon flavored, of course.

Not surreal at all if the guy was ducknuts enough to inject himself with all kinds of nasty shit in the hopes of contaminating the supply and getting one last parting posthumous shot. I would be looking very carefully at the blood he donated and/or the patient (involved in the shooting or not) who may have received it. I mean, I know they screen donated blood, but no detection method is perfect.

Well, I got permanently deferred from the red cross, so, yeah. Wanted to reduce my blood cell count, apparently I shouldn't have admitted to that.
You know what? While I'm not fond of Muslims (the only monotheistic religion I respect is Judaism), we need to stop blaming Islam and guns. This individual chose to do a horrific thing. He's the one who did it. Not an islamaphobic, homophobic assault rifle. He chose to pull the trigger. Was he influenced by Islam's repugnant tradition of homophobia? Yes. But ultimately, he made the choice he made and no one else should be blamed for it.
