Sorry for the late blog, because I have many things to do because of exams also the internet connection is slow.
But, Praise to God, that my exams are over. Sadly, lessons and school are still going on. I got about around two to three weeks left until my July holiday starts. Furthermore, Praise God again that I am now in the month of fasting also known as the month of Ramadan. There are ten things that I am going to do in this beautiful month of the Islamic calendar:
1. Worshipping and praying to God five times a day
2. Read the Holy Quran
3. Do good deeds and not to do bad deeds
4. Gaining knowledge around the world
5. Respect religions and don't mock them.
6. Be an honest and humble man
7. Going to Islamic lectures and reminders (I mostly go to lectures every Friday but I watch some of them on YouTube)
8. Do the last third of the night prayers.
9. Fast everyday until the month of fasting ends.
10. Have a great connection with God (Taqwa)
I must fulfill these 10 things on this month If I lack of doing these in this month, I would be a loser and have sins. Please pray for me that I will do these things very nicely even though if you are Christian or Jewish or Atheist etc. I just want to share about these things I am going to do in this month. Share your knowledge about your thoughts on fasting with different perspectives.
I wanted to say more about my days in fasting. About two to three days ago, my grandmother from my mother side has passed away by leg fracture and illness. I pray to God that she will rest in peace by His hands like how he mad my uncle and of those who have passed on like my grandfather from both of my mother and father's side and my grandmother from my father's side. May all of them rest in peace. To God we belong to Him and to Him we shall return.
Share about your problems with me like exams, families who have died, etc. Like I said, we want to share that we must respect difference and learn to care and advise each other, because God order us to be friendly to other religions as we must respect them also to remind them.
