But on that note, I am glad they listened to fan feedback and improved on everything. The multiplayer trailer is awesome too.

To best honest, Titanfall was a great proof of concept for a new IP (definitely a "meh" game, but a great proof of concept). The core of Titanfall was solid, and there definitely was a gem, but poor design choices (only an MP Campaign and no private matches at launch???) and management of DLCs (the first DLC basically killed it for me, there just wasn't enough there to keep my interest at all) basically killed it. I'm honestly surprised that EA even considered a Titanfall 2, much less put it into production.

Here's to hoping that EA won't screw this up too. I love the Titanfall lore and fluff (even toying with some Titanfall fanfics when I have free time), but the negatives were too much for it.

I'm going against my word after the cluster-foxtrot that was The Division, and am preordering the game tomorrow. I just hope that this doesn't bite my in the rear.

PS: I wonder if this game will be what saves the COD IP, like how the first Titanfall "saved" Advanced Warfare

I absolutely loved the first titanfall, but the LMG was a bit of a " WIN GUNFIGHT" button and that annoyed me to no end.
