I mean, spending the day in the Popular box isn't bad, and I know plenty of stories never pick up 200 views, but... I think my one-shot comedies have given me unreasonable expectations of success.
I mean, granted, "Legacy" is a really vague title, and there's no cover art...
But I can't help but thing it's doing the story's viewership no favors when there's a story titled "Legacy of the Greatest", and a second story titled "Legacy" in the popular box, both at the same time as mine.
You people might get lucky and get the second chapter sooner than planned, cause I'm a bit disappointed with the lackluster reception of the first one, and kind of want to give it another boost.
I mean, it'll still be at least a day or two, but given that the original plan was once a week...
Means more focus on this when I really wanted to work on this Pinkie Pie one-shot.
It's alright. It's always going to be easier to find an audience for light stuff. It doesn't ask them to commit time and attention like something longer and more serious. Besides, there's something to be said for quality over quantity. I mean you have me, for instance. You've got to admit, I'm pretty damn impressive. I mean, really.
I like the first chapter, tightly written and enjoyable. And yeah, the name is kinda nondescript, adding another word or two to it would've helped.
