    Asking for Help

Someone very close to me, as well as a co-author on *Survivor's Guilt*'s sister's cat is in bad shape. He needs eye surgery badly, and they need to raise money. If anyone out there can help, please do.

    Your Turn to Roll

I'm not gonna spoil it, but if anyone that follows me is a fan of darker, more intense fantasy stories, check out the Legend of Vox Machina on Amazon Prime. Season 1 finished today, and season 2 is gonna be awesome.

    In memory

107 years ago, at the height of the first truly modern war, over 100,000 soldiers set their weapons aside and came together in brotherhood in a true Christmas Miracle.

    Merry Christmas everyone.

Final Thoughts on Please Forgive Me · 4:24am Jun 10th, 2016

Do you ever have one of those weird ideas for a fanfic that you just want to write?

Well that's how Please Forgive Me started for me, just a simple question, "What if Rainbow Dash was actually Scootaloo's mother?" I filed it away for a future idea to work on, maybe something in between telling stories of the Equestrian Wasteland, or writing the Lucifer Crossover I've been neglecting for awhile now.

But then as fate would have it, I read a prompt from Phoenix Nebula that was exactly what I wanted to write. Tell the story about what if Rainbow was Scootaloo's mother and Scootaloo found out the truth. I doubt I'm the only one who wrote this kind of story (this isn't Sisters Forever after all), but it was still something I felt I needed to do.

Maybe it was because of my own experience as a teenage mom (the backstory almost mirrors my own), but Rainbow Dash didn't have the advantages I did. I wasn't on my own, so I didn't have to give up my daughter. I guess I saw the idea as being what would've happened to me if my life was different.

Maybe the ending wasn't too realistic, but going into it I knew I wanted it to end with the two reconciling and becoming a family again, take what you will from it.

And as for the creature... well, that's my little secret, but like Luna told Scootaloo, there are always depths.
