    Heads up, Gonna need feedback

I've been workshopping story descriptions for The Wayfarers, and will probably post some of them here soon. I'd gratefully appreciate some feedback on which you find more appropriate, or maybe how I could edit one to make it better.

    Hiatus almost over.

Just a quick post for anyone who's still looking out for me or my work.

I'm sorry it took longer than I originally thought to make another post. I'm guessing any long time follower of mine would come to expect this from me. I've just been dealing with a lot in my life, as I've probably let on.

    Requesting Feedback: New Story Summery

So, I'm thinking of rewriting The Wayfarers summery for the coming year. I've been tinkering with it for a while, but I'm thinking of trying something else completely. Maybe something a little more in the vague side? I want the reader to have an idea of what they're getting into, but I also don't want to be so wordy. I don't know. I'm open to suggestions.

    The Hiatus Blog

Perhaps this post is more of a formality than anything, but it's still one I'd like to make, nevertheless. I want things to be stated plainly and upfront.

New Chapter/Chapter Revision · 1:27am Jun 8th, 2016

So yeah, chapter ten of the Wayfarers (Quill and the Speckled Band) is up. If I can keep up this steady pace of short chapters, that means these little update blogs will probably become fewer and farther in between. No use cluttering up your news feed with the same old jive.

Also, I'm glad to say that I finally revised chapter 1 of the story too. Cleaned up some typos (though I probably messed a few), fixed some format errors, and spruced up the narration a bit at places. My style has changed a bit since then. If you decide to give a read again, tell me what you think or if you find something I need to fix.

Anyway, thanks for the support. The Wayfarers is a slow work in progress and I find myself getting in the story's way a little too often, but I'm glad to see it still alive. Hopefully, you'll enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy spending time with its characters.

Now, some tunes...

4085989 I'm shooting to have it up before the month is out, though, I know that's kind of vague. Going to have it ready for my editor with the next day or so, so I'm hopeful that it'll be uploaded soon. Would've had it out sooner, but life. Life sucks sometimes.

4089624 I gotcha, and thanks for asking. Makes me happy to see that there are readers invested into the story.

4091433 Thanks, man, I'll try not to disappoint.

4113526 I'm considering it. It's something I've been tossing around in my head for a bit. Might do that for the next chapter update and see what happens.

And yeah, sorry it's cutting close for the month. My birthday was the 20th, and let's just say I haven't been all too productive this week. In fact, I haven't actually been sober for most of it. :rainbowlaugh: You only turn 21 once, so I've been making the most of it.

4115563 I wouldn't say I've spent an entire week drunk, just every other day. I'm done, though, and ready to get back to work.

Also, just a day is good. Anything longer is just exhausting.

4201525 It'll be up this month. Sorry for the wait, just had a lot of shit happening as of late.

The good news is that the chapter is written, the bad is that I have to get it from paper to computer. I might try and make it longer than usual as a way of making up for it being late.

4204262 It's bit of both, to be honest. I find that the words come easier to me with pen and paper. And I don't know why, but there's this strange anxiety I get when looking at the blank space of a word processor. It feels as if it's going to just swallow up my words and leave me with nothing. Is it stupid and over dramitic? Probably, but that doesn't change how I feel about it.

It's not that much of hinderence with small projects, but with massive ones -like The Wayfarers- it's hell. 80 to 90% of that story, that includes content published and unpublished, is on paper somewhere. I can get bulks if the story done at a time, but it's mind numbing transcribing it all. So much so that it sometimes kills my enthusiasm to write at times -like recently in fact.

Actually, I havent given much thought at all about speech to text. That might be just what I need, for transcribing at least. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely look into it. Also, sorry for the long response. It's easy for me to get long winded.

4237887 More late, unfortunately. On top of all the shit I'm still trying to get over, I wrecked my car coming home last night from a friends.

I'm still continuing the story, but right now I'm just at a comolete standstill in my life (especially with my fucking car totalled). Might actually put a haitus tag on the story till I can get my shit together.:ajsleepy:

I need to make this a blog post, but for now, this response is the best I can get.

4283906 Believe it or not, I'm working hard to get the gears moving for an update this month. A BIG update. No promises, but I'll post a blog on my progress sometime around the 15th. I'm currently on an upward swing from a low point in my life and I'm trying to ride it hard.

Fingers crossed.

(And thanks asking too, dude. It means a lot that there are some still interested in the story).
