My Site Anniversary! (And A Thank You...)

I'm three days late, but it still counts!

The fourth of June marks my three year anniversary of being on this site! For the large majority of that time, I was completely silent. Only recently, have I deviated from my silence and realised what a great community of people we have here!

I'd like to refer to something Damien Darkside said recently on the Good HiE list podcast.

In response to someone asking him if he had any regrets on fimfiction, Damien said (something along the lines of):

"Just talk to people. I was silent for so long and didn't realise what cool shit I was missing out on."

That really resonated with me. I'd asked myself why I hadn't spoken to people sooner despite being a fairly social person and I had no excuse.

Because I chose to be more active, I'm now friendly with some awesome people. I'm sure if they're reading, then they know who they are! I extend that advice to anyone who hasn't spoken out yet.
