Well see if it makes it in this story, but since I'll be asked I thought I'd might as well Blog about if I have any plans for Zephyr Breeze and Dark Horse, given what titanic hang-ups Dresden has about family.
(Great Fluttershy episode, by the way. Go watch it if you haven't already. Easily on par with Ain't Easy Being Breezy or Putting Your Hoof Down.)

The only idiot with a grey pelt and a white plume wasn’t deterred, however, and glared at me as he stepped forward. “Lady Fluttershy,” the twit ordered me,” you are under arrest for high treason against the crown of Equestria.” The Chief Twit flared his wings in a way I’m sure must have been terrifying to whatever cave dwelling knuckle-dragger his mother must have kissed once upon a time. “Come quietly, or we will be forced to subdue you.”
I had to wipe a tear away, before I could tell him off. “Kid, I do not recognize the authority of Equestria or its crown; I am an American citizen, and intend to freaking stay that way” I ignored the rather unprofessional, angry murmur from some of the ‘men,’ and instead snarled and pointed at Chief Brush-head. “Counter-offer: You and the rest of this under-geared, unarmed squad of fools go crying home to big mommy wide-load, and I won't break the lot of you so badly, your own moms’won’t recognize you. Deal, kid?”
Bit current, but Hasbro hands you the keys to the Mint, so to speak... 
Ouch, that's a particularly mean section, especially what happens next. Dresden getting her own version of what happened with Pound Cake and Marcone.

The scary thing? That's not an edit, I just added the red for emphasis on what's been in chapter #3 for months and months. For some reason the first thing that sprang to mind for an annoyed Dresden and 'Guard Lucky #13' was a bunch of mother insults.
Personally, I did not like Zephyr at all( as soon as he burst through the door I didn't like him), and don't think he should be include in Dark Horse.
Otherwise this was a good episode. The facial expressions were a delight, and Fluttershy's parents were great. Its a shame Zephyr's character brought it all down.

I liked him myself. You got a real sense that he's one of those people that's been cruising along on raw charm slash looks without falling into that 'bully' pigeon-hole that's the stereotype. One pot-hole and bam, they don't know what to do with themselves.
Still, I'll admit that what a light wake-up call it took for him to clean up his act was part of that. It helped him come across as somebody floundering with what they want to do with their lives instead of an outright leech, and I think the former is more then forgivable. Especially since they really managed to make Fluttershy and Zephyr feel like brother and sister.
Are you even writing anything in dark horse or not? I haven't seen you post a single new chapter in ages.

Well there was an outline some of us got to comment on. It was huge, like hundreds of thousands of words large, and mostly talking heads. But it wasn't publishing quality (in fact, it was just the outline), so it hasn't been posted. There is definitely stuff written though.

The old version of #8 spooked me, so there's been a metric fuck-ton of behind-the-scenes work to make sure it doesn't happen again and that the ultimate conclusion is satisfying.
3998201 Just one more thing to lay at the feet of the Perfectly Pretty Pretty Princesses who jumped into things with all four hooves with out really looking or thinking about things. I mean one good look at "Fluttershy" should have told them they needed to throw out there plans, take a second look at things and do some major recon.
