This happens to me every freaking year. 
I don't know why, but the first of June to me is always this wake-up call that the year is roughly half over, and it's a pretty start reminder of how quickly time has been passing.
So what the hell have I been doing with my time?
Work has been eating up a lot of my time. "MADNESS!" you scream. "The thing you get paid to do has been taking up a plurality of your time in a society that depends on the combined efforts of everyone's labor!? Outrageous!" And then your monocle falls into your tea. You were wearing a monocle and drinking tea for this exercise. I hope it was delicious.
Being an adult's been pretty heavy lately, too. I sometimes feel like I meddle too much in others' lives. Some people characterize it as me trying to be helpful, but I can't help but worry about creating codependency or something. Mostly, it's been helping friends with various tasks in their lives, facilitating communication, being a friendly ear, and helping make plans. I realize this is all super abstract and utterly thrilling, so I'll move on before your heart bursts.
Of course, there is one more thing going on in June...
MLP-MSP!!!
That's right! My favorite convention is back in town, and I'm doing that thing again. I'm sponsoring (this time at the highest level - be a statistician, kids), but I'm ALSO helping them put together the last-minute details. And I'm their editor now! Apparently! I've probably put around 30 hours into it over the past week and a half or so between editing panel descriptions, formatting the con book, and working on my own panels, which has taken a bit out of my free time. So... apologies for that. I've been busy. But...
Chapter 36 of Sensation is coming out next week, during the convention, AND...
...so is chapter 37. 
I really appreciate your patience, all, and for those of you that can't make it to the convention this weekend, I hope you'll take solace in reading more about our favorite couple of queer ponies.

Yay, two updates right before finals week with a monday final. Sometimes I hate this time of year.
