The new episode was pretty great. I had issues with how unprofessional Ruby and Sapphire were during that whole thing, but still. It was cute and funny. I was a little annoyed by how stupid the Homeworld Rubies were, but then I realized that it was kinda pre-established that they're dumb. Lapiz is being super emo, which makes sense. Still, I was kinda hoping she'd be a bit less... that. But, most of all, Ruby is the smoothest mofo I've ever seen in a cartoon. Like, boy, she was about to get it.
As for lore, the Rubies being after Jasper makes tons of sense. I can't wait to see her come back (and probably get poofed or even shattered by Yellow Diamond for her incompetence).
I really like Steven U, in case you can't tell. I like it a lot. I might end up blogging more about Steven Universe. If you haven't seen it, watch it. Watch all of it, now. That's an order.
