    Rest In Peace Akira Toriyama

It has come to my attention that Akira Toriyama, a famous mangaka who penned, among other things, the Dragon Ball manga, passed away March 1st at age 68. Acute Subdural Hematoma, apparently. Never knew the man himself, obviously, but, I've been a lifelong fan of his work, and it's sobering how he's just, gone. May he rest in peace.

    Hindsight

Every piece of commentary on/criticism of any piece of media, from a kids book to a physics textbook is made with the benefit of something nobody could possibly have had at the time.

    Hindsight.

Of course something is obvious in retrospect, we can piece together what led TO the thing with present knowledge of the thing in question having happened.

Cheat Codes · 7:17am May 31st, 2016

Let's talk cheat codes. I personally do use cheat codes. I love them. They make my gaming experience so much easier. However, when looking for cheat codes, more often than not, I end up encountering one particular thing that pisses me off. For example, you look up say, Pokemon Omega Ruby cheats. Not that much to ask for. You punch it into Google, and you see, "GameFAQs has 183 cheat codes and secrets". All right. You click, and there's not a single f*cking cheat code. Nothing. Nothing, just secrets like "You can get a Beldum in Steven's house after beating the Elite 4" Yes, I know that, I played the originals. If I wanted secrets, I'd look up a secrets guide. I don't want a fucking secrets guide. I want cheat codes. And yet, virtually every time I do this, this sort of shit happens. It's not very much to ask for, and yet despite that, it's damn near impossible to find cheats without spending hours on something that shouldn't take half that time, and most of the time finding shit you either already know about, or don't care about. It's one of the most frustrating things.
