Rainbow Sprinkly Goodness

You know what I haven't seen often?

A bisexual Rainbow Dash.

So I made one.

And yes I got this story idea primarily from songs (Rainbow Connection here and Lazy Eye by Silversun Pickups- don't know why but most of my stuff are influenced heavily by music and that's why I named it that for anybody that might care)

Working slowly on chapter 3 but its coming- have some friends of my family here so its a very slow process compared with writing two chapters in like five hours.

And Twilight is a jerkk because growing up completely sheltered as a protege of a Princess while having magical aptitude and magical powers pretty much awesome mode from the get go caused her to be super bullied in her time at Gifted Mages Academy and therefore having only the most rudimentary knowledge of social situations and the like (and seemingly getting no clue that people actually really exist outside of her own world leads to some terrible behavior.)

Rainbow Dash on the other hand has some stuff worse than Twilight- there's a reason why joking that she's super promiscuous makes her shut down and that her going through Cloudsdale's flight camp was a thing. And why she's seen even in the show itself as to why she might enjoy cider a bit too fanatically.

Also why she connects with Ditzy.

Tada I don't want to say childhood trauma or something but maybe. And I might be hinting that Twilight is dealing with the aftereffects of bullying and most likely on the autism spectrum somewhere.

Trying to stretch that teen rating since I like doing that it seems and that I usually think that perfectly fine shipping stories can happen and don't have to rely or use clop.

So yeah all these ponies are more my take on what they'd be if I focused on their personalities and tying that to possible things or adding onto backstories. Also chapters might be shorter than what my crossover chapters show I can get to. I don't know why but I think that shorter chapters up to like 3k words feel right for slice of life dramedy chapters. Also that's where I usually start to feel I get too wordy in a scenario right around that point- don't know if that's me reacting to college papers I write being around a good ten page/ 3000 word area or something but yeah 3k words can be nice.

Thank goodness for that Drama tag though- lets me get deeper stuff into the story without needing to decide on what I would need to focus on more- tragic elements or comedy (especially since the last time I checked I think this site doesn't allow a story to be tagged tragedy and comedy at the same time)

But yeah this is probably going to be a more teen rated thing with some cute bits and some not so cute bits but character development is fun and I actually think this might be the first time I'm writing a bisexual character in a romance story. Don't know why that doesn't come up often since its a perfectly valid choice for shippings- and don't worry I have some personal experience with the whole bisexual thing.
