Why I Believe in God · 2:39pm May 28th, 2016
(Warning: This blog is only for those who are interested of learning my religion, Islam and why I believe in God. If you are interested to read, then go ahead. But if you are not, then I suggest you don't read this, just ignore me and leave. I won't force you. I don't care if you want to do anything bad on my blog)
I am born as a Malaysian Sunni Muslim, My parents are both Muslim. All of my family are also Muslim. In Malaysia, there are Chinese and Indians who worship their gods such as Buddha and the Indian gods - Buddhism and Hinduism. There are also Chinese and Indian people who converted themselves to Islam by hearing the recitation of the Holy Book of Islam - The Koran/Quran or learning of what Islam is all about.
Anyway, back to my story, I am a Muslim and I believe in God because, it is part of my faith (iman). Without God's guidance, I would be lead to astray by evil and become an Atheist. So I pray to Him five times a day everyday from morning to night. I make prayers to God for my assistance, my parents help, the poor and anything in trouble. Sometimes, I dream of God of how He created the Universe, the Sun and all other galaxies. I also need God's guidance by reading the Holy Quran. I don't worship false gods and deities other than God as though it is paganism (shirk). Paganism is the greatest sin in Islam as though it is an association with God. This is also includes to the Christian perspectives of Jesus (pbuh). Jesus was never consider a God nor a Son of God as though I don't believe in the Holy Trinity. Jesus is a creation, a prophet, apostle, servant and a messenger and also the son of Mary without a father. God does not need partners, sons, daughters, fathers and mothers. He is The One and The True Creator and God.
God says in the Quran:
"Say: He is the One, The Immortal and The Eternal Refuge, He does not beget any children nor begotten Himself, And none is equivalent to Him" - Quran: The One (112:1-4)
I mostly read this verses many times when I go to sleep. It protects me from the temptation of Satan and whisperers of the devils to let the angels wake me up for my morning prayers. I love God and He is the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful and The One. His Attributes and Names are the Greatest. I must respect all religions since God and His Messenger to respect them and learn about them in order to gain knowledge from them, God willing.
May God help and guide me for all the challenges that is about to occur, God willing.
