For those of you who don’t know, Princess Skyla was a baby Alicorn whose first appearance was through a Hasbro’s “So Soft Newborn Toy” released in 2013. It features a cartoon version of Princess Skyla on the bottom of the box, which looks like it’s just a repaint job of Sweetie Belle. She’s a bright pink filly with a purple and yellow mane. In my opinion, her coloring scheme is a little unpleasant to look at. Furthermore, if Hasbro’s were to tone the coloring scheme of her down a bit so they weren’t clashing, I would probably like her more.

The other filly, Princess Flurry Heart is also a baby Alicorn feature on the show of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magical. Her first appearance was in Season 6, Episode 1: The Crystalling - Part 1. Princess Flurry Heart color scheme is just absolutely lovely. She’s a light pink filly with a purple and blue mane. And from what I can tell, she doesn’t look like a copy from any previous episodes. Although, I have to say her horn and wings are a little unproportional to her body.

Since Princess Skyla’s color schemes are similar to Princess Cadance, we can assume that it’s Princess Cadance’s daughter. So, that would technically make Princess Skyla sister to the already known Princess Flurry Heart. Or maybe, Princess Skyla was recreated and renamed to be Princess Flurry Heart. Hmm… that would definitely be an interesting theory.

So what can we consider... Can we assume that another Alicorn Princess will appear on the show of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magical? Will Princess Skyla ever appear on the series of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magical? Or was Princess Skyla just a marketing scheme? On the other hand, was Princess Skyla the inspiration behind Princess Flurry Heart? Seriously… so many questions and yet so little answers.
