How I Relax · 2:14am May 25th, 2016
1. Crack open the window so the neighbors wild animals can be heard and the breeze can come in.
2. Light a candle. That Good Homes kind of stuff with weird scents. (Latest candle was tropical breeze or some such nonsense.)
3. Put something on the telly. Something happy/calming. (Lately happy usually means Veep, but since I want to write tonight, I need something that won't leave me too giddy, so it's gonna be a Let's Play. Namely, slowbeef's LP of Alien: Isolation. I'm on video 18/44)
4. Eat something fantastically unhealthy. (Tonight, it's Little Caesar's stuffed Deep Dish pizza and mint oreos. Because I hate love myself.)
5. Enjoy the present. Because it will soon become the past.
I envy #4. I envy sooooo much. The mint creme oreos, or the chocolate mint covered ones?

I love candles and I don't care how unmasculine it might be because candles are nice. My dorm always had candles. It was against the rules but we loved them. A new one every month, and our candles were big ones that always stayed lit, sometime alternating. The room smelled so nice... I would light it after a long day of classes and curl up and drift off to sleep.
I should get some candles next time at walmart.
