I'm copy-pasting this from the RariTwi group, but...
If I were to potentially host a RariTwi contest, would any of you participate? There'd be cash as a reward, something from the awesome Arcticwaters, plus whatever else I can get by fluttering my eyelashes at my friends and INSISTING THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS WOULD BE FOR THE GOOD OF RAREPAIRS EVERYWHERE.
There'd be the usual 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes, as well as the SELF-INDULGENT Monochromatic prize which will probably go to whoever makes me screech myself into oblivion (or cry into oblivion, bc I love my drama).
The topic of the contest would PROBABLY be decided through a poll or at random, I'm guessing. As for judges, I'd be one, and I'll do a small poll in the group to see who'd be interested?
So, any potential writers, maybe?

Right now is exam time for a lot of people, so you might want to hold onto that contest idea for another month! ;P

You know she's had so much cake she knows what's good and bad and now she's munching on your cake and judging it.
Reading stuff, definitely. Participating... dunno. Still very much in a writing slump. Maybe branching out is what I need. Dunno. Depends on the prompt catching me :P
Well, I doubt I will end up writing anything, but anything that results in more shipping has to be a good thing.

If I could trust my muse to actually be motivated enough to finish this in a timely manner, I'd say yes. Buuuuuuuuut that's not a guarantee at all.

I'd be interested, definitely. I've never been in a contest before, so it might be a fun departure from chapterfic hell. Never written RariTwi before, either (or any ships actually) despite being a ravenous consumer of shipfics, so hurray for new frontiers.

I'm unfortunately bogged down too much to consider participating, but I'll definitely keep a close eye on this. More rarepair writings are never a bad thing.

I have no idea how to write this "rome-ants" genre you speak of, but for the creator of Enchanted Library, I will try. Schedule permitting, unfortunately.
